Why Total War WH40K reveal seemingly kills any hype towards Dawn of War 4?
why did they skip 3 and release 4?

think it has more to do with the fact Total War Warhammer is a bigger release and more recent, in other words you will probably see dicussion of DoW4 increase again when more major news comes out

In my case, I'm not hyped for DoW 4 because I have played the dev's previous RTS (Iron Harvest)
DoW4 only exists because GW demanded it existsit's not game devs going "yeah we wanna make a sequel" it's GW going "we want a sequel to advertise the model kits"it's corporate as fuck, everything is near identical to the designs of the plastic models, the dark angels are just there and they have their primarch with them despite the devs saying that gabriel angelos isn't in the game because he'd be too OPthe blood ravens are effectively getting overshadowed in their own game series because GW wants to push sales of dark angel models
