I honestly don’t get why everyone’s so obsessed with GTA 6. The hype has been going on forever, it’s everywhere, all the time, and I just… don’t feel it. GTA 5 and Red Dead 2 are impressive, don’t get me wrong. The worlds they built are insane, super detailed, and alive, but actually playing them? I get bored pretty quickly.I love wandering around and checking everything out at first, but after a while, it feels like there’s nothing new to do. The missions feel all the same. All the random stuff you can mess with in the open world is cool in theory, but after the 300th time you get chased by the police, don't you get bored? The game doesn’t keep me coming back for hundreds of hours as it does for other people.So yeah, I’m genuinely curious what everyone is expecting from GTA 6 that’s gonna make it so different? The hype is off the charts, but to me it just looks like more of the same thing we’ve already played. Am I missing something?

>>729364304It's just the power of brand recognition, it's the same thing with nintendo or people losing their shit over new iphones, there's very few people who stop and ask "wait, why am I so hyped for this again?", they see BRAND, they consume because they know exactly what they're gonna get, Rockstar has literally tens of millions of fans around the world, the hype always spirals out of control because everybody and their grandmother's dog are talking about it
