which zone did you choose to go to when wotlk was released and why was it howling fjord?
>>
it's been too long but did ogrimmar sent you to tundra? if yes that's where I went cause I couldn't be arsed to take the zep to undercity and then the zep to northrend. Honestly tundra wasn't bad at all, felt like a better introduction to fighting the scourge home turf. fjord however really felt like a new land with the cool viking setting. Still the most balanced expansion in term of setting, questing and world building even if the gameplay started to take a nose dive with the streamlining and faceroll launch dungeons and raid

org was tundra undercity was fjord
>>

waowza was never a good game and it only attracts midwits
>>
>>729365527
case in point
>>
>>729364508
I went to the other one. IT was also kino but in a different way
>>
>>729364508
In all honesty borean tundra was better in terms of the actual quests and storyline.
>>
>>729364508
Because I'm not a scrub that wanted to run around in the most boring gray wasteland known to man. Howling Fjord hit different-first steps off the zeppelin and you're hit with that music and giant cliffs, tuskarr, vrykul, and those houses carved straight into mountains. Felt like you were actually exploring something new. Plus Utgarde Keep was right there like "yo let's go." Borean Tundra felt like WoW devs figured snow = content. Nah, I wanted the Viking Disneyland experience.

>>729364508
Fjord was much better looking but Tundra was the better introduction to Northrend.
>>
>>729364508
I went to the snow one and when i went to howling fjord i was surprised how nice it all looked. I think the questing was worse on fjord though but maybe thats just cause i smashed through quickly for rep at one point

>>
I did all the zones for 8 characters.
I did Borean Tundra first then Howling Fjord.
Borean Tundra actually has better quests.
Only thing Fjord has is the instance.
>>
>Go to Howling Fjord
>first quests are about fighting the Alliance for no fucking reason
The Horde is fucking retarded
>>
>>729368040
bruh
i quit WoW because by wrath my friends stopped 'playing' and began following guides on youtube.
>>
>>729368847
fjord is from the pov of the forsaken though, who have always been in direct and perpetual confrontation with humans unlike the factions of kalimdor
>>
>>729368697
fjord has fantastic landscape and atmosphere

>>
>>729368960
i prefer the boring tundra myself
>>
>>729364508
Grizzly Hills was the best looking zone, bar none.
>>
>>729370943
this

howling fjord -> grizzly hilss -> zuldrak -> storm peaks -> icecrown was peak progression
>>
>>729368960
Yea but the alliance quests were hot garbage. Maybe it was better for horde.
Borean Tundra has some nice fetch quest starting out where you're trying to solve a mystery and a kive little base of operations with Valiance Keep where you could level up your cooking and fishing.
Yea it drops off hard once you leave the keep but I always enjoyed that introduction.
>>
>>729371164
>icecrown was peak progression
i hate how anything afterward never felt earned like storming icecrown citadel, you mostly walktz into the bad guys hq like you own the place

Which faction did you chose?
>peaceful natives who protect the land and only act in self defense
>violent and disruptive invaders who belligerently refuse peace for basically no reason whatsoever
