As someone who has played literally everything except Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii the only games you should ever play are Yakuza 0 and Judgment. Maybe Lost Judgment too.

Jap VA wasn't so bad desu, hated the skill progression/nerfed combat but hey whatever played it through a couple days ago and I'm now on K2 chapter 4. Man I love this series.Also played Judgement in between Y0 and K1. Got LJ saved up for January once I'm done with K2 and then it's K3!!!! Fuckyes feels good to finally play the original series with Kiryu.

If not you may need some momentum, wo start with LAD7 and grow to like the series that way.Only negative is that it's more difficult to go from new -> old
sega needed to just let Kiryu retire from being the yakuza.Seriously, let him retire. you did a "and then he takes care of a BABY!" premise which is the ultimate we ran out of ideas move.Kiryu is 70 years old. And, he has cancer.Ichiban can stand up on his own feet, or fail, but either way it's Ichiban's trial to step in to Kiryu's shoes (the gay idol guy from Johnny's Idol Agency who did Judgement can't because Johnny's Idol Agency is batshit insane)
