>>729368554New thread and recommending Enshrouded again since last thread died as the game positively surprised me. If you liked Dragon's Dogma or Zelda BOTW/TOTK you will probably like this oneProsGreat explorationDungeonsCan be played with friendsCons:Weapons are stat sticks
Reminder to buy Door Kickers 2 NOWhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/1239080/Door_Kickers_2_Task_Force_North/
>>729371340do you know any similar games to fight knight?? i really like the aesthetic and genre
>>729371340Never even heard of Kamiwaza and I really enjoyed some of the WotS games. I wasn't going to get anything else this sale but that looks really cool
I only have enough budget left for one game.Which one of these should i get?
I got Ass Effect trilogyShould I play as John or Jane?
>>729368554
>>729373736John "feels" like he makes more sense, but Jane has a better voice actor. Best romances are John's too.
>>729374172>romanceI don't care about that. Can I skip it?
What do you think?
>>729374202Yup. Makes the game feel like it makes more sense too if you do. I doubt most militaries accept their commander fucking the troops.
>>729368554Might be hard to recommend a game for me. I prefer tight action-arcade experiences. I’m warming up to roguelites now that I’ve played two decent ones (Tiny Rogues and MegaBonk). I haven’t played that Worms game since 2013 and it’s been long since uninstalled.
>>729368554Should I buy?
>>729374516try the first game, if you liked the style of gameplay them buy the second
>>729374516I would recommend MegaBonk at least, it’s more skill-based and active than you might first think. Whatever you do, don’t stop moving for any reason and if it feels like you’re having a slow start after like two minutes, just do a quick restart. Don’t force yourself to try and make the run work, the run needs to work for you.
>>729369301Add Full Bore to the list.
well?
>>729374885just because of crosscode you are my bother and i love you
>>729374432Good.Well I chose ruthless spacer Jane, here I come.
>>729368680Dishonored, Splinter Cell CT
>>729368554My most played although Im not looking for another multiplayer or fightan
It needs to be 3-5 games max, if you post like 30 fucking games nearly every genre is going to be represented so you can't come up with a relevant recommendation>>729374885>>729368680>>729369348case in point, this doesn't tell me anything about your specific taste, at this point just open Metacritic and sort by highest rated
>>729368554Give me games like: Thief, Splinter Cell, Hitman and Metal Gear Solid. Pro tip: you can't. The closest you can go is by recommending me all the new Commandos-likes. And lets remove Sniper Elite from the picture since that's too easy, so is Styx or i suppose Dishonored. And yes i know about Gloomwood. My top played games don't necessarily reflect what i want to play. Hell can you even give me Project I.G.I. ? Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint might classify but there's not much else.
>>729374968Ruthless is the best path anyway. Go all in. Trample anything in your path. What class are you going for?
>>729373061I didn't play any of them but I'm reccomending Promise Mascost Agency now simply because I loved the dev's previous game Paradise Killer.
>>729375131Idk, I'm still at that screen choosing. I read on leddit Adept is the most busted/fun so I'm probably going for that. Sentinel, Vanguard, and Soldier all sound interesting, too.
>>729375127Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex, Ghost of Tsushima, Metro games, etc, doesn't do it for you? Just pure stealth games?
>>729373061scarlet nexus is pretty cozy
>>729374496Earthion is really great. And have you played La Mulana? Also play Toxic Tomb, which is free:https://locomalito.com/games/toxic-tomb
>>729375221Let me put it differently, in a fantasy game, what class would you choose?
>>729375127Pure. Yeah, i like when the levels are set up to accommodate the design first and foremost. I think only Deus Ex has somehow managed to do the optional stealth approach better than other games at times. Still not as involved as the entire game being that approach.
>>729375540Whoops wrong replied>>729375369
>>729375590Oh, well then you're right, I think you covered the best ones. Anything I'd recommend you would be subpar to your favourites. A shame.
>>729368554Buy the six from V3Expo: The /v/erdict 2 -Winter 2025-
>>729375478I don't really play many fantasies game. I usually just go for the generic/good guy in games with choices.
>>729375102I did post 3-5games and you didnt respond to that one :)
I've finished 2 games already
>>729375705Anything that shows up in that immediately goes on my ignore list
>>729376175I'd say you should play soldier. It's an all-round class that doesn't require you to understand a lot about combat or mechanics, and it's solid through all three games. There are other classes that you can cheese and powergame more, but first playthrough should be without cheese. Just play the game, and you can't go wrong with a soldier.
>>729376245it was subsumed by your post with 20 games
Can you guys recommend me something from the following criteria:1. Game like Against the Storm (City builder / resource management game with roguelite element)2. 3D japanese game (can be rpg or action) with good 18+ mods beside dead or alive and code vein.
>>729375102Pants on head retarded frogposter, 3-5 games isn't enough to get a grasp of someone's tastes. You need the big selections to draw overall patterns. Like this anon >>729369348 you can see he's into realtime action games in general, with a preference for RPGsOr this one >>729368680 is into strategic games, but also enjoys platformers and dabbles in FPS.
>>729376509Yeah I'm thinking that as well. Everything else seems kinda gimmicky now that I'm looking it up properly.
Recommend me a cheap soulslike just so I can say I beat a souls game.
>>729376829Code Vein 85% off.
I'm not much into boomer shooters. I've had most FPS fun in my life with COD4 and Unreal Tournament 2004 and 3. Also I've bought Armored Core and Wuchang.Any reccs on what to add/remove? Some people say that FMF2 is bad so I guess I could replace the bundle with the first game and something completely different.
>>729376829nioh
>>729376553And ? I gave 3-5games to people like you and 20+ to other people. You had an easy choice to ignore the 2nd post i made yet you didnt instead you complained.
>>729376942I told you in the last thread that you should reconsider getting both Forgive me Father 1 and 2. Now even more since you say you arent really into boomer shooters. You should keep Northern Journey, and reconsider Brush Burial since it is not on sale. It is hard to suggest something to add since you dont say what you are looking for
R8 my shit
>>729377340Why are you even bying Schedule 1?Against the storm is nice, I enjoyed it very much
I was thinking of buying Beyond Citadel, but I'm afraid it might put me on some sort of list
Not on PC but my most played game is Animal Crossing New Leaf. Can’t find much like it on Steam
Rate my haul. Any other games to buy? I have 20 more euros to spend. Looking for must-play games.
>>729377327I've spent the past couple years playing RPGs and soulslikes. The only one I'm currently looking for is Banquet for Fools in January.I'd like to play something interestingly moody or visually engaging regardless of genre. It's hard to describe it but I'll give you some things that made me feel this like:Control,Morrowind,Dark Souls,Half Life 2,VtMB,Terminator Resistance,Dread Delusion..Things I REALLY don't like are puzzle games, platformers, jrpgs, visual novels and spreadsheet sims
Is No More Heroes 3 worth it if I liked 1 and 2?
>>729376572Cliff Empire.
>>729377819Apparently Ac Oddysey is rather good game (not a good ac game)
>>729377849You'll probably like Icewind Dale with BG1 that high.
Qrd on Laser Eyes game?
>>729377996I have Odyssey, Origins is on the pic anon
>steam capping server download speedsthank you for the christmas present, Gaben
Not my most played forever on Steam since my taste has changed immensely, but for my last two weeks:1. Endless Space 22. Abiotic Factor3. Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon4. IXION5. Dread Delusion
My most played game on steam is Defiance 2050
>>729378110I seen it i thought you didnt own it since you said "Any other games to buy?" since you played it is it a good game or did i hear wrong ?
>>729378101I have Icewind Dale but haven't started it yet. I think it was released before Baldur's Gate 2, so I'll play it first.
Stranger of Paradise is good if you wanted a souls-like that does not use stamina. I am in heaven.
>>729374496>AstlibraHoly based. You are correct it is hard to recommend you something because nothing will ever beat this.
>>729377870Then you should keep Northern Journey no doubt. Have you played "all" soulslike yet? I went to look through my played games and found some that might fit:Maybe check out Neva, it is short and /v/ probably don't like it, but I liked it and it fits one of the things you are looking for. Very light platforming. Maybe Fight Knight, it has a very different look. Okami as well. >>729378176Damn, what is happening with Dread Delusion getting attention this sale. Feel like I see it everywhere now
>>729378647>Damn, what is happening with Dread Delusion getting attention this sale. Feel like I see it everywhere nowFanatical.com has one of those "build your own bundle" things going on, and it's on of the games available there. So if you buy that + one other game it's like 16€. Might be why
>>729378647>Damn, what is happening with Dread DelusionI guess people discovered it finally.Honest opinion after having beat it on the hardest at the time difficulty, if it didn't have that ONE tranny in the clockwork kingdom that really felt shoehorned in and if the combat was challenging and offered some amount of danger towards the player it would be the perfect indie game
>>729378793>>729378834Is it worth? I remember from older sales threads (past years) that there were some dissent about it.
>>729373061>those priceshow do you people survive lmao
>>729378908I liked it. It's really worth it for 9€
>>729378594I beat that game on Hard Mode, too. It never felt so good to beat a boss, it felt earned. Especially that volcano boss.>>729375428I played La Mulana for all of thirty minutes before I felt completely lost.Seriously though, Tiny Rogues is outstanding, everyone in this thread should play it. It's only ten bucks and I got 95 hours out of it. And the dev is adding even more to sometime next year.
>>729378908Have only played an hour or so thus far but it seems to be pretty neat. I'd say yes
>>729368554I would like to know what you guys think!
If you enjoy puzzle games I recommend Escape Simulator 2.
Recommend me a weird indie horror game
>>729380134oxenfree, firewatch, through the woods
Have a total of 30 dollaridoos to spend recommend me games to buy? Some stuff I enjoyed>RE7>Black Mesa>Alan Wake>Control>Skyrim >Cry of Fear>Bloodstained>Wolf Among Us>Night in the Woods>Max Payne>Metro>FF TacticsBasically atmospheric, story-rich games with a bit of horror.
>>729375127Intravenous 1 & 2
>>729380279Pathologic
>>729372043I really want to play this but I will not buy an unfinished game.
>>729380474Fair enoughWait for the 1.0 release date and try to buy before it releases as it will(probably) increase in price
>>729380279If you haven't tried it play Ghost of a Tale.Higher quality story/atmosphere than 99% of Steam's catalogue. But it's an indie game so there's no voice acting, but outside of that it's an S-tier experience.I'm assuming you've already played The Witcher series because it's the best story game bar none.VtMB for immersion.I've heard good things about Outer Wilds but I haven't played it yet, it's in my backlog.I highly recommend Escape Simulator and Escape Simulator 2.Escape Simulator has a lot of custom rooms that make it worth it just buying the base game.Escape Simulator 2 is really good too.
Bought:https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/5848/Riptide_GP_Bundle/ (great time killer)https://store.steampowered.com/app/2365810/Pseudoregalia/ (current playing it, great music and has the vania feel) https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/48919/The_Citadel__Beyond_Citadel/ (Did 100%, back to back, GORE!)https://store.steampowered.com/app/3373660/Look_Outside/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/439490/BLUE_REVOLVER/https://store.steampowered.com/app/528230/SYNTHETIK_Legion_Rising/https://store.steampowered.com/app/282140/SOMA/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1313/SiN_Gold/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1300/SiN_Episodes_Emergence/https://store.steampowered.com/app/2768430/ATLYSS/https://store.steampowered.com/app/2378900/The_Coffin_of_Andy_and_Leyley/https://store.steampowered.com/app/380150/STASIS/https://store.steampowered.com/app/960990/Beyond_Two_Souls/https://store.steampowered.com/app/234270/Ken_Folletts_The_Pillars_of_the_Earth/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1227690/Severed_Steel/https://store.steampowered.com/app/3339780/Desktop_Survivors_98/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1229380/Everhood/https://store.steampowered.com/app/473770/BallisticNG/Might buy, but probably not, maybe...https://store.steampowered.com/app/590380/Into_the_Breach/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1578650/Citizen_Sleeper/https://store.steampowered.com/app/524220/NieRAutomata/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1684930/CULTIC/https://store.steampowered.com/app/1369630/ENDER_LILIES_Quietus_of_the_Knights/https://store.steampowered.com/app/3539440/Metal_Garden/https://store.steampowered.com/app/2218750/Halls_of_Torment/https://store.steampowered.com/app/400910/RabiRibi/https://store.steampowered.com/app/588650/Dead_Cells/https://store.steampowered.com/app/312520/Rain_World/https://store.steampowered.com/app/420530/OneShot/
Just got Dysco Elysium the final cut from Timmy, but then I remembered there was some massive fuckery withthe studio and the original developers/writers. It the final cut the "good" version of the game?
>>729369085>convallariaI really liked it but it felt like every map was made to be beaten in a specific waywasn't really interested in story mode>>729372043Got it when it came out and I'm waiting for it to get out of EA. Supposedly there was a combat overhaul coming out
>>729368554Not my most played games but can anyone recommend any single player games similar to the old call of duty campaigns?I'm talking cinematic over the top set pieces but still somewhat groundedArcadey gameplay with a semblance of realism, nothing like doom or quake.I've already played Titanfall 2
RateI culled some stuff i was less interested in and i think i'm pretty satisfied with what i'm getting.
>>729376756You can always swap class between games. Play soldier in first game, play something else second game. You're not locked in for the entire franchise. Just per game.
>>729378920We don't
