There's guides on steam to unpatch the game so you get a lot of the soundtrack back. Otherwise it shouldn't be super difficult to run on modern systems.

Amazing game, best Mafia game and you just have to realize it isn't a GTA. It is way more focused on missions and story. But I do think its missions are far superior than anything in GTA

Mafia 1 was quite the classy game.
In Mafia 2 every third word is fuck this, fuck that, fucking woody woodpecker, the game felt like it was designed by 13 year olds who think swearing automatically makes it mature. Then of course the game had dull cover shooting and regen, overall was much blander than the first game, and has less features too like no drive by shooting while 1 has

I really fucking hate that the remake failed to capture any of the soul of the original game. The atmosphere was so important to the game, but they changed literally everything good about it.

They changed some story moments, and I despised the "drive here to automatically leave cops behind", hey you stupid retards who developed this, the heavy, more realistic driving of the first game was great and how you could get damaged in a crash made it interesting, you couldnt just drive at max speed hit a wall and then just keep going, the danger made it good.
