I bought tomb raider 3 as a teen because I saw a review in a gaming magazine and they said it was super mysterious and fun to play. I didn't give a fuck about Lara. The level design broke me to a point where I just skipped every level (except for area 51, where the cheats didn't work, but at least it was an easy level) until the final boss and killed him to be done with it. I never bought a Tomb Raider game again, although I was interested in the next installment. Really liked the 3D inventory.
