I didn't really like vermintide but I absolutely hated darktide and refunded it
Ror2,l4d2 and Helldivers 2 are significantly better coop shooters

Vermintide 2 provided me with almost 3000 hours of entertainment, melee combat is one the better experiences out there, unfortunately the game ran its course and playerbase will only continue to shrink
Darktide 2 was always one step forward two steps back for me
melee combat is less satisfying, map design is bland for the most part, heavy emphasis on cosmetics, balance of the game is all over the place
any potential improvement needs a whole year to to roll out
