Wind magic

Its the shittiest element in every game its ever been put in. Why?

Has no developer ever seen a tyre blowout or a Pecos Hank video? Does no one know how horrific wind scouring is?

Anything that can make you fly is good even if it's the only thing it does. Now, water magic, THAT is dogshit.

It's like water in RPGs but even more extreme in that the weakest version is a nothingburger while the strongest is effectively an instant win button.
There's not much to work without it becoming overpowered, so it's usually a mediocre middle ground mixed with thunder and lightning (and weather in general) for a "Jovian" element instead.

Imagine blowing something up by concentrating pressure in one point, would be pretty cool
