The funniest thing about this meme is how everybody is saying this sounds like Naughty Dog or Ubisoft, but have clearly never played any of those games, because theyre not remotely quippy, and classic Asscreed although failed sometimes, always tried to be historically accurate. And TLOU and Uncharted were more casual and interpersonal than "action movie quips". It was about the relationships of the character, so much so that it would take string precedence over any semblance of describing the videogame mechanics in a way that doesnt sound disconnected from the game or characters.Honestly it sounds crazy, but I dont remember a single tutorial sounding like dialogue in TLOU or Uncharted.Anyway the reason why this whole meme is funny, is because the dialogue it actually reminds me the most of, is Metal Gear Solid. Down to the way MGS will try to talk about videogame mechanics as if theyre naturally part of the world, creating a complete disconnect of self awareness from the characters.So its hilarious everybody is using their generic narratives to characterize modern sony AAA games as this, when its more reflective if the beloved "classic mgs". You could even go as far as to say this is characteristic of zelda, although zelda is far less elegant about it, they try to describe videogame mechanics and videogame goals as if its natural.Funny how that works.

Last game I played that did this was Ninja Gaiden 4. The sony games that do this are the spider-man games and horizon. The only acceptable radio chatter is Metal Gear and Ace Combat. Everything else could do without.
