When did videogames stop having SOUL?
''After the release of the Deathsmiles games'' is what you are implying I think.

Zoomers are only attracted to old womenNo nasolabial fold no buy
>cow boss>can't milk it for extra pointsso yes, I would say that Deathsmiles does not, in fact, have "soul" at all.
Butts.
>>729386397We already know that the games themselves also have some fan service. The Deathsmiles games are rated T for Teen after all and CERO B after all.
>>729383883When their creators did.Unironically, the lack of creative visions, innovative design, and polished attention to detail can be attributed to two issues. The first is in how businesslike and corporate everything became. Marketing began holding more sway than the actual designers and revenue avenues became the principle factor behind projects instead of any type of inherent entertainment value.Secondly, the actual people making video games are no longer the self driven developers inspired by their experiences and whimsical interests who's areas of expertise and understanding are multifaceted and often deep. Now the technology behind video games is so much more complicated and the people operating and utilizing it so much more inept and hyper specialized. They have actual college courses and workshops that pump these poor sods out like cookie cutter templates, teaching them specific UI interfacing, Unreal Engine plugins, and workflow routines, that none truly understand how to better fully integrate and grow their work into a better overall game. Talent drain and greed have essentially ruined the AAA side of this medium.
