not really, it looks like peru, or a similar place on the pacific side of the andes. The area is very dry and all the hills look like piles of rubbles because of it. He's obviously not rich because rich people live in gated communities for fear of rapt, but he's probably middle class.
The outside view and the floor inside look disgusting because of all the dust, but life is actually rather peaceful if you can manage to escape the pollution, and can stand the dust

Me on the top during my entire life because sleeping is the best thing in the world. There is nothing better than getting into bed. Except for the dreams. Yes. It's the city, and I keep dreaming of it. I hate it.
I keep dreaming of the city and its surroundings nearly every night. I am mildly stressed, or tired, I don't know why, I just need to get somewhere. I get on busses and look out of the windows, watching endless walls of grey buildings passing by. Sometimes I meet strange people who remind me of old friends. We climb concrete stairs that end in the sky, and I look down to a grey main square with public transport traffic. I become deeply afraid of the stairs and climb down on all fours.
When I arrive somewhere, it's usually a School, or a learning facility for a job. There, I wander around for some time, talk to one or two teachers, and leave again. When I leave, it's always dark outside.
I have trouble finding the way back. I'm lost on narrow country roads going up steep hills. It's a warm summer night, and I'm carrying a child for a few seconds, then it's gone.
I keep walking, sometimes cycling, and the city slowly disappears. The climate gets dryer and the sun rises in just a few moments while I reach the top. I follow the road downhill, and it gets wider. I can see a mall on one side of a highway, and a small hardware store on the other side. The city is always near, even when I think I'm far, far away.
It ends with me feeling content at some point, like understanding where I was walking. My dreams end at a place that was alien to me at first, but now has become familiar to me through my travels. Sometimes there is a sunset.
But other times the dream ends at night, with me still being lost.
I wake up exhausted and drained. I wish I could stop seeing the city.

If this keeps going there will no longer be any consoles in the traditional sense, they'll just be streaming boxes that will connect to whatever Sony/M$ online game streaming service. You best bet that once they force people to accept game streaming there won't be anything else, it literally solves every problem companies have ever had.
>>
>>729387958
It's only natural that karma came for pc gamers. We got too cocky.

Normies don't know what RAM is anyway. If anything the devs will have to optimize textures somewhat. Also they've locked future buyers out of running local models lol.

Simplistically putting it, Trump and AI.
To elaborate.
>Trump subsidizes AI industry to give US a market edge
>AI companies seize on this and start building up like mad, AI companies outside US also start building up, seeing that they will otherwise be left behind in the economy of scale
>AI requires tons of RAM among other things, but prize isn't a problem in subsidized economy, so companies buy their RAM in bulk
>RAM manufacturers sell with glee, only to realize they are running into production caps
>Seeing that they can't milk the AI companies for huge bucks due to already made business deals, start selling RAM on consumer market at premium prizes
>>
honestly it doesnt even matter. what game has come out recently that even justifies getting a 16gb+ vram card? AAA gaming is total garbage.

Nvidia is making a play to absolutely decimate the consumer market in order to force gamers to pay a subscription in order to run new games. What they aren't accounting for is that absolutely no new games are worth paying a premium for and most people will simply buy less powerful computers and play older/indy games that don't require stupid shit like 32g of ram and a 5090 just to get a consistent 60fps. This will continue until some other country (probably China) figures out how to manufacture their own chips and breaks the monopoly.
