Shrek 2 was a great game and even had 4 player co op

You're thinking about the console version. The PC version was basically a different game. It still was alright although quite short platformer.

My grandma actually bought me Soul Reaver when I was 7. I don't know why she did that. Not like I asked for it.

I remember console Shrek 2 actually being a pretty OK beat-em-up even though it's mostly poor man's Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

Did you give his mom any suggestions?

This was the first time I was ever consciously aware of a movie being shit.

I finished it two days ago. The music for the game is way better than one might expect.

Could be as well. I played Madagascar and I remember it being a fine platformer as well. Personal I feel like Ratatouile had the best gaming adaptation. Sort of miss the times each kid movie would get a tie-in platformer.

I downloaded Madagascar a couple of weeks ago and have been playing the shuffleboard and tiki golf minigames shamelessly for hours.
Ratatouille was also a very fun game, quite comfy.
This motherfucker on the other hand...

nah, she found it in a bargain bin.
>>
>>729397272
It's the game when he inherit mansion from his dead uncles? I remember it fondly. The whole chasers thing was I think unique for 2d platformer. Although I don't think I get far enough to feel any difficulty spike.

>>729397540
To think Yuji Naka's game would share space with shovelware slop in a bargain bin.
>>
>>729393721
I remember, Nightmare Creatures, Clayfighter 63 1/4, Battletoads Double Dragon, and Super R-Type

I don't know what to feel about Eragon. The series was part of my childhood and yet the movies was shitty and the book series feel astroturfed. Oddly enough Paolini wrote a new book in the universe just couple years ago and from what I've heard they're some talk about straight to streaming show adaptation, so I guess Eragon is coming back? That's an unexpected thing to see after these 15 years.
>>
>>729397963
Yup, that's it. I shouldn't have played this when I was a preschooler all thos years ago, felt nerve-wracking anxiety for the first time in my life because of the chases. The plant mission also gave me nightmares.
>>729398592
I wish it got a sequel.

The best that comes to my mind are both Tomba 1&2 although that's because of all that use of 3D models in 2D platformer.

I don't have kids or any younger relatives.
I installed a shitload of my own pirated games for my twelve ears younger double first cousin (pretty much my younger brother) though. Now, he keeps calling me everyday to report his progress or ask questions about this or that in whatever game he's playing.
Right now, he's playing Red Dead Redemption 1.

No, thankfully the only girl is into girl stuff. The boys are either into real sports or at worst fortnite and random mobile games. The youngest only care about fortnite, roblox and minecraft exclusively because what he think are "gamers" (youtube content farms full of adults acting like retarded babies) play those games. Go without saying the family is trying to ban him from youtube as that is literally all he watches when given a chance. Go without saying I don't want to encourage him by buying him robux or whatever. Type of kid who want to eat exclusively chicken nuggets and tator tots if given the choice. Hopefully with time he will mature and ideally if lucky the concept of video games will become boring to him because all he ever known from the media was complete garbage.

Which is a shame because I played it a couple years later and it's really cool
