I want to know the basics of Skyrim modding. Knowing those may shave off a couple of hours of headaches.
>>
So then go look up a tutorial on youtube or some shit?

Go to RPGHQ download Wabbajack Unlocked and have entire modlists download and install automatically no need for paying premium and shit (in case you want pure basics there is modlist only containing that too)

Download a modpack as a starting point.

What's the difference between Vortex and Mod Organizer?
>>
>>729398261
Vortex actually works natively with nexus, and doesn't take an hour to boot up despite also being launched from a harddisk.
>>

Mod Organizer was a third-party project started by people who didn't like the retarded proprietary software Nexus made to organize and load mods. But eventually, the main dude behind it got poached by Nexus themselves in order to make Vortex (the "better" mod organizer) while the leftover team is in charge of Mod Organizer 2. You'll generally want to use MO2 over Vortex at all costs (and if you install a modlist with something like Wabbajack, it'll have MO installed with it anyway).

MO2 does too, no?
At least I remember installing mods directly from the website straight into MO2 just by clicking the download link in the website.
