The difference is that unsatisfying endings from stuff like say The Sopranos or Uncut Gems work because the entire story forshadowed and built up to those endings when you look back and connect the dots. What this retard doesn't understand is that he simply doesn't have the pen game to properly pull off an ending like that so it just always comes off as a lazy cop out ending pretending to be deep because that's exactly what it fucking is.
