Since starting to read books, stories in video games have become completely uninteresting to me.Video games just can't explore the minds of its characters and convey stories as good as books do, it's quite laughable.Even games that are supposed to have deep, meaningful themes like Planescape Torment and Disco Elysium pale in comparison to relatively simple books like East of Eden. The strength of video games is immersion and I believe that this is something developers should focus on. Create a world that is interesting to lose yourself in or have good gameplay that doesn't get interrupted.Books just do stories better.
>>729397873never seen this version of a cover, that's my favorite book though, it's wild

thought it said eden of the east and got briefly excited to discuss >bang
My favorite stories come from games. I don’t give a shit, I’m not reading a book.
>>729397873Why does this seem like a republican book?
>>729397873>Video games just can't explore the minds of its characters and convey stories as good as books doVisual Novels are literally books but with pictures and music. They are written so that the last two are not necessary.
>>729400701It's not very political, it's more a book about personal stories.
>>729400701it's basically a modernized retelling of a mishmash of a bunch of old testament/torah fables with some added jewish schizophrenia (steinbeck was a jew) mixed in, but i gurantee you that 99% of republicans have never read it, otherwise they would try to have it banned and burned
