I agree. It's not the best, far from the worst. A bit drab and dark. Like, visually dark. The palette is washed out, hard.

Pretty good game carried by the dungeon design with terrible pacing and story, THE worst gimmick in zelda history (wolf), that also suffers form being entirely derivative of ocarina while still being worse in every way. I still like it though.
