Will TES6 be Daggerfall on steroids?

>strongly implied to be a Hammerfell setting, though it could be Iliac Bay more generally, including High Rock

>Todd wants to bring Starfield tech into the game, hinting at extremely large-scale procedural generation to make truly vast Daggerfall-esque terrain

>Todd wants TES6 to be the definitive "fantasy life simulator", which was more or less what Daggerfall was in the 90s

Given how much desert and ocean Iliac Bay has, we could be looking at a map that's much, much, much, much MUCH larger than Skyrim. Daggerfall's map was literally the size of Great Britain.

Yes, however modern bethesda lacks the ability to pull it off well. Before starfield released I thought it would be a spiritual successor to daggerfall and it was in a way, but it also wasn't very good. Unless they come up with a ton of good, well designed supporting mechanics it's going to suck ass.

>No one was exactly praising Skyrim's radiant quests
>Starfield is one of the lowest rated Bethesda games out there, and rightfully so
I'm convinced not many people actually wants super large maps if most of it is randomly generated and locations don't have some sort of interesting story to tell, be it self-contained or quest given. Also going to be disappointing if it's another Fallout 4 scenario where all the loot is randomly generated with a random list of effects and nothing is truly unique.

Ai is better than human made anyway, eventually the quality of ai made will always be superior to human made content. It's not somthing that can be stopped, that future is already in motion.

That was skyrim.

Oh trust me, I wasn't a big fan of the abundance of Draugr/Bandit/Foresworn, but you could smell the copy and paste off of Oblivion's dungeon design. Oblivion's enemy variety was a lot better in comparison, if it didn't suffer from the heavy level scaling.
