That's rich coming from someone who probably thinks Call of Duty has deep narrative nuance. Persona turned hanging out with friends into something meaningful with actual gameplay consequences, which is way more than most JRPGs bothered to do before. It's not perfect, but acting like it was some joke before P5's style points blew up is revisionist as hell. P3 and P4 had cult followings for a reason, even if they flew under the radar.
