Post the most evil character in their respective game.
>Why yes, I killed that dude for no reason. But have you considered that Moralists bomb the shit out of commie thugs like me? Makes you wonder who the real bad guy is.
>>729406414to be fair he killed a child raping piece of shit, he's basically Kyle Rittenhouse tier
>>729406414>Bro you can't shoot the war crime committing mercenary thugs because... you just can't okay!!
>>729406516while the sniper could safely assume he's a piece of shit, I don't think he knew the details of what he did he was just having incel rage
If you kill your enemies, they win.
>>729406149what did he doaside of being gay
>the game's developers are the true antagonistsWoah...
>>729406661he stabilized the prices of goods
DE is actually a strong argument for liberalism, regardless if the author intended it.Put aside there is a world ending calamity that will kill everyone in twenty-something years no matter what political side wins. The communists and socialist union workers are shown to be the most corrupt trash in the game. Organizing crime and scheming to displace poor people to set up a "youth center" to get kids addicted to drugs. They keep Revachol a ghetto. The far right is not at evil, but they're feckless and useless. The racist mug man is a cuck. The fascist girlfriend is raising her kids in garbage and not actually doing anything to fix her life/community. Measurehead works for Evrart Claire.Meanwhile the rest of the world is slowly improving after the ravages of the war under liberal technocratic leadership.
FOR A MOMENT, THERE WAS HOPE.
>>729406769devilish
>>729406661Be a genuine lizardman
>>729406581>>729406414>taking the ending at face valueEvrart was in contact with The Deserter for years, giving him supplies to keep him alive and assassination targets.Working for Evarat, Klaasje organized the kill, getting the mercenary on the target point to be shot.
>>729406998He clearly didn't respect the Clare twins after bringing him supplies. I doubt he killed the merc on their request.
>>729406781True in the game but the libs pave the way for the end of reality itself in the expanded materials.
>>729406781>The fascist girlfriend is raising her kids in garbage and not actually doing anything to fix her life/community.Are you referring to Lilienne Carter? I don't think she is ever identified as a fascist in the game.
>>729406473>accusing your enemies of that which you are guilty ofcommunists gonna communist, I guess
MarioIf U know, U know.
>>729407194The deserter believed that Evrart was a fake corrupt communist, when in reality Evrart was a real communist disguised as a corrupt union boss in an attempt to protect himself from assassination. Everything he does is for the purpose of creating the material conditions for revolution. He and Joyce are the most interesting characters in the game by far.
>>729406414>i was actually being influenced by a supernatural giant stick bug the whole time
>>729406998I thought thats what the twist would be too but its just not. The devs even realized how unsatisfying it was so they tossed us a shitty bone with the old union rep getting murdered.
>>729407431You can infer that she is fascist-aligned by her portrait motif and some of her dialogue.
I wonder how Harry would have saved the world if ZA/UM lived long enough to reach whatever sequel that would've been.
>>729407912There should have been some mode where both Kim and Cuno join you at the end of the game. That would've been extremely kino
>>729406149
>>729407194You don't need to respect someone to work for them, especially when you're a bitter drug addict. Its strongly implied in game that Evarat has used The Deserter for previous assassinations for people he wanted gone. Evarat wanted the mercs to go on a rampage and commit a few war crimes because he was safe and it would create terrible press for Joyce's company and force them to give in to his demands. Klaasje's testimony is contradicted by Ruby, who is far more trustworthy. Ruby describes Klaasje as cold, calculated and professional, unbothered that a sniper just shot into her room. Even by Klaasje's own account she inexplicably heads back upstairs into the room she claims she thinks someone is trying to assassinate her from.
>>729406149Pretty fucking easy one, really. Not even her boss comes close.
>>729407912>I wonder how Harry would have saved the worldHarry would use his special innocence powers to will the nuke heading towards Revachol out of existence and win the war, ushering in an age of ultraliberal communist monarchy
>>729408304what a retarded plotTypical "subvert the players' expectations!" bullshit
>>729406149>>729406414These men were not evil. They both believe in something greater. They are at cross purposes, battling it out on the world historical stage.
>>729406781The "rest of the world" is not improving. Moralist countries are improving because they're exploiting other countries.
>>729407672>>729406998>making shit upThis is "fisherwoman is a secret nazi" tier bullshit, anon.
>>729412612>naziFascist, which in Revachol is literally just monarchism.
>>729412796>conflating monarchism with fascism because the game makes fun of directionbrained retards by calling all Leftwing characters communists and all Rightwing characters fascists when that's objectively not true at allYou can't even get that right. Only one character is a monarchist, i.e. someone who actually expresses any positive opinion of royalty beyond a vague "Revachol was better when it was a Suzerainty and de-facto capital of the world".
>>729407912I don't think it's the kind of universe where the world gets saved. Things would just be shittier in a sequel, with everyone being more focused on their petty political squabbles than on addressing the Pale.
>>729413226I disagree, the game's entire message is that living in the past is bad, there are still plenty of possibilities in the world, and even a complete fuckup like Harry can be redeemed.
>dark soulsMaybe Seath?
>>729412612Uhh.. have you seen her portrait and some of her dialogue?
>>729410247>some fuck up former gym teacher turned detective stands in the heart of the city>all he cares for surround him >save on->no you don’t care about her, it’s over it will all be over soon anyway >a look of horror is on most of there faces >the others well…>kim is like a calm lake on the surface but you see below that he is fearful>jean is utterly unfazed, you see a twinge of movement at the corner of his mouth as if he is trying to hold back a smile>it is clear that he is thinking “it’s finally over” >judit is frozen, she looks as though she is thinking>she wants to rush to the closest payphone to call her family but a feeling of fear and futility have left her immobile >cuno simply lights his cigarette and chuckles you can see him mumble “i don’t fucking care” the last syllable comes out oddly, bitterly like it was caught in his throat >you feel see it coming down, the missile like a small candle in the sky growing ever closer that will burst into a star>a new dawn for revachol? >you think of a woman, of her, she is sitting in her house with her family, she is with her husband and children, she sees the cloud and she feels sorrow for all>save you, she is relieved that you have been released of your pain>all voices in unison: what a bitch what the fuck does she know about us?> “what does she know about me?”> “what do I know about me?”>time feels like it slows down, no it is slowing down>you feel something welling up within the deepest recesses of your mind >you here a voice, it is your own>you: “what are we going to do?”>me: “what can we do?”>you: “be a star harry, like we were always meant to be”>a flash brighter than the sun bursts into you mind and as time begins to move again you raise your hand toward the sky>you extend a single finger >you make “the expression” it is not bitter, it is not ironic, it is the most honest you have ever been >”Disco”>the missiles are gone
>>729406661Being a centrist
>>729415760Ahahaha, I geddit.
>>729410749The Deserter is evil. He's just a thug that justifies himself with an ideology.
>>729413156Just because you refuse to acknowledge subtext doesn't mean it stops existing.
Joyce did nothing wrong
>>729407912Sequel with Cuno being the protagonist in one of the other countries mentioned in the first game is what we need
>>729407526>Right winger so desperate to be contrarian he ends up simping for a fictional foreign PMCSomething something art imitates life.
>Bully a bunch of kids so badly they leave the academy>Years later manipulate the new academy director to frame yourselves as the good guysTeam Star won, they got away with itNothing about their story stands against scrutiny

>>729411739What? Wasn't he one of the more neutral gods in sacrifice?
naruto in all the naruto games. he was a dumb retarded selfish nepo baby, who wanted to rule over others as hokage no matter what. while madara uchiha was offering everyone the chance to have their dreams come true and live in happiness

>>729406414>i killed her because she was a whorecringe or based?
>>729424260He was specifically seething about not getting laid himself.
>>729406414Such a disappointing ending. The answer to the mystery was some random fuck at the end.
>>729424260Cringe because he was just doing the bidding of some bullfrog in the end.
