which game is harder?
Left but neither are difficult nor input heavy games.
>>729406520silk song by a fucking mile
>>729406520Silksong until midgame
>>729406520Depends, on a blind playthrough? Elden ring will probably be harder. But I think if you've got any outside knowledge, Elden ring can be made much easier than Silksong can. With all the tools and crests you have access to in act 1, you're still going to have to memorize Widow, Last Judge, and Phantom's attack patterns, you'll need a modicum of skill even if you're making it as easy for yourself as possible. In Elden Ring though? You can farm that boulder and bird for a bit and make most of the game a cake walk, especially when combined with things like the mimic tear and broken weapons like the blasphemous blade, you can trivialize 90% of fights in the game, and even most of the DLC fights can be made pretty easy if you just eat your scadu snacks
>>729406520didn't die a single time in elden ring until pre-nerf dlc. died 50x in silksong.silksong is way harder. souls games aren't hard after you've played one before.

my penis
it depends
>>729406520I think Elden Ring with summons is easier than Silksong with tool spam, but the opposite would be true without either of those crutches.
>>729407263>makes the worst swamp level in existencetakes talent to be such a shitter
>>729407510Bilewater is good and disliking it is a sign of low iq, putrified ducts suck thoughbeit
>>729407716You looked up the location of the secret bench and didn't beat the game
>>729406520I started playing Silksong a few days ago and I'm finding the game relatively easy (I killed all the bosses before entering that big door where you have to place the bells). However, I've also been playing some shoot 'em ups recently, so it may just be a matter of contrast, since shoot 'em ups are ridiculously difficult. However, it seems that the developers have reduced the difficulty with updates. Does anyone know if there's a big difference between Silksong at launch and now? Finally, I found Elden Ring MUCH more difficult than Silksong, but in Elden Ring I played as a caveman, so I only used rags and sticks as weapons.
>>729408150>in Elden Ring I played as a caveman, so I only used rags and sticks as weapons.kino as fuck
>>729408150The difference between launch silksong and current patch isn't that big outside of act 1. Moorwing and Sister Splinter used to do more damage and IIRC the enemies Sister Splinter summons used to be a little bulkier. Otherwise, a lot more hazard types used to do double damage, like the blasted steps worms.
>>729407901It was a pretty obvious diversion if you were paying attention while exploring anon
>>729406520Probably Silksong. Elden Ring was designed to be the easiest Souls Fromsoft made specifically to get as many people into it as possible. In that, it succeeded. Getting your shit pushed in by a particular boss? Go away, gain some levels and come back to beat it. Want some assistance? Here's some specially made spirits that will draw the bosses attention away from you to make even the hardest fight easier. You want magic? We got every flavor of Kool-Aid imaginable. Elden Ring is meme'd as hard, but the game practically trips over itself to give you so much shit to beat it.
>>729406520only Souls game I've played is Dark Souls but it's far harder than Silksong.
>>729406520i died more times to the crucible knight in the gaol thing then i ever died total in silksong
