You have it completely mixed up and you have no idea what you're talking about. FF fans will enjoy playing other RPGs, but it depends on the games they like.

If they like FF 1 - 10 they'll happily play other RPGs.
If they ONLY like FF7 they won't play other RPGs and assume FF7 was the only JRPG ever invented.
If they ONLY like FF14 they don't even like video games.
