The older lineup was way more diverse, from tiny gremlins to giga milkers, now it's just a conveyor belt of thighbomb gacha bait waifus. They axed variety for mass appeal and forgot what made the roster actually memorable in the first place.
I just wish we could get the gameplay of modern gacha with the character designs of old ones
