I think the sad reality is that mostly everyone here did have a girl that liked them but didn't notice it. They probably had their one chance to escape the autism, hedonism and misanthropy that dominates their life but didn't go for it.
When I was 28 I took some community college classes and there was this 18 year old actually autistic (unkempt, looked like she smelled, drew elaborate Godzilla fanart) girl who I talked about video games with. On Halloween she came in dressed as the Knight from Hollow Knight (skintight black bodysuit included). She was excited when I recognized the game but disappointed when I didn't continue the discussion, as I hadn't played the game. Then covid happened.Also her hotter mom was taking classes with her.
