No, but you won't be able to appreciate ER's additions to the Souls formula if you haven't played through all of DS1, at the very least. Delay your gratification and go play through DeS and the DS trilogy + Bloodborne before starting ER. Sekiro is optional since it's an action game, not an action RPG like other soulslikes.
