Friend of a contractor shared details about The Elder Scrolls 6!

Take this with a grain of salt, but someone I know worked briefly with a studio contracted by Bethesda on tools/world systems. They weren’t directly on TES6, but they sat in on a few presentations.
Here’s what I was told:
Setting: Hammerfell + High Rock. Not the whole provinces, but large interconnected regions. Emphasis on borders, politics, and cultural tension.
Tone: Less power fantasy than Skyrim. You’re not the chosen one. The world moves with or without you.
World systems: “The world does not wait for you” Cities can change over time. Some can decline or even be destroyed depending on events and faction outcomes.
Exploration: Minimal hand-holding. No automatic map markers. NPC directions can be vague or wrong to mislead you.
Combat: More physical. Shields can break, weapons degrade, enemies react to how you fight.
Magic: Magic is knowledge-based. The more you understand a school, the more it alters gameplay and dialogue. Some magic is taboo and has consequences.
Factions: They act independently. Wars can happen offscreen. Leaders can die without your involvement.
Tech: Trees, weather, and terrain are actual systems now (not just visuals).
Again, could be BS, but it lines up with stuff Todd Howard has hinted at over the years.

Who cares? I'm not even gonna pirate this game.
>>
I literally only play Skyrim to fuck my loli followers.

I don't care, bro.

Do you think the elder scrolls got more shallow because Todd lost his step stool and can only use a small section of the brainstorming whiteboard?
>>
>>729420924

Are they going to cram base building into it again? What about all the nautical and naval theming from the last anon who claimed to have an inside scoop?

That's how you know it's bullshit.

The regions are separated by a sea. There are no interconnected borders or whatever you faggot. You don't even know enough about this setting to make convincing bait

Meant to include this

I mean it's possible that Bethesda does not personally know how retarded each and every game journalist is

You're talking about a game that is on the engine that can't handle ladders.

Yeah, no, sorry. My dad works for Bethesda and he told me that it's going to be about the aldmeri dominion genociding all the races of man. You don't even get to stop it you just delay it for a bit by pushing back their first wave. The DLC is going to be about sending the summerset isles into a time warp to make them someone else's problem. You use a magic array of Artaeum.

Whatever
I'll be waiting until it's on sale with all the DLCs for $5 with tons of mods
I'm very patient

This sounds like something Todd would say
Which means I believe it, but it's still bullshit
