Escape from Tarkov has to be one of the worst videogames I have ever seen in my life.Why would anyone play this? From the horrible visibility to the masochistic gameplay, I honestly do not get why this game is a thing at all.

>>729424593being able to set the pace of progression, basically. having hideouts not take several hours to make a single item, being able to tune quests and level modifiers so they're not at MMO levels of grind, and stuff like the AI mods as well as cinematic visual mods just to make the moment to moment blasting and shooting fun. it's basically just a "zone out and shoot things" while also getting the dopamine hit of completing quests and getting money/skills up.
It's terrible. I tried to be buddies with a guy at my job and this was the only thing he did every waking second outside of work. Didn't even want to hang out more when we had buffalo wild wings once, just fucking Tarkov.
