LO has the apartment for everything from door knocks to most of the little character interactions the player gets to see between party members.I haven't watched much of his streams but Malison seems more inspired by RE in the sense the protagonist is exploring an already fucked up city and doesn't have some home base to go back to. So party recruitment will probably be completely different. Iirc he said in an old trailer RE was an inspiration. Personally we already have LO so if this is survival horror DnD Goblin Raccoon City and it's paced like the OGRE games I wouldn't mind seeing that.
