I'm convinced that if Mojang added simple coloured lighting then a considerable amount of people would opt to use vanilla lighting instead of shaders.

Don't really care for more light sources but I really don't like the game necessitating you to have everything be lit up. They should just add a beacon option that prevents hostile spawns imo.
been unironically decorating the caves i depleted out of most of their resources (i don't need more desu)using vines, changing the texture of walls here and there by silk touching ore blockssometimes i add a half collapsed wooden archway or pillari still haven't finished the railway system to connect my villagesand i also need to carve the flank of a hill next to one of them to turn it into a natural onseni couldn't think of a good design for an alchemy lab, i tried to build using black stone and deepslate but it contrasted too much with the rest of the village, so my small netherwart farm is underground so still a work in progress

>>729444457Such is the way of modded Minecraft.I guess it helps bearing in mind that the perfect is the enemy of the good. I've had more enjoyment out of rudimentary mods quickly thrown together than elaborate modpacks I meticulously assembled and customised. Maybe starting off simple and gradually adding more mods and tweaks as you play is the winning move.
