favourite game with a reset ending?
It was perfectly obvious that they were in a lostbelt from the very beginning.Zelretch clearly abandoned the timeline since he wasn't part of the story at all.
>>729446247the real issue is that it took Nasu 7 fucking years to do nothing original at all
>>729446050Why is this such a common thing in Japanese Media?
>>729446298Didn't he say he wanted to go back and finish writing Extella but FGO monopolized his time?Idk why Nasu1 bothered. Higashide wrote a much better Extella than he did.
>>729446378he spoiled the extella timeline + killed the protagonist in an fgo chapter last year, that shit is never getting a sequel now
>>729446460There are still 2 Velbers unaccounted for, he mentioned that.
>>729446514FGO says he beat both of them with no issue offscreen
>>729446675That's hilarious, but I don't buy it.
>>729446050Hate this shit. Same with time travel, or multiple dimensions. It just trivializes everything that happens in the story.
>>729446846What if I told you FGO dealt with all 3 of these things
>>729446050wait what? FGO has ended?
>>729446898I guess I'm not missing out on anything, then.
>>729447035Bizarre, isn't it? A gacha has ended its story by... ending its story instead of dying and EoS.
>>729446247how was it obvious from the beginning that it was a lostbelt if the concept of losbelts was explained when the game was 3 years old
>>729447103yea, that's pretty ballsy of Nasu to just kill his cash cow. unless he will announce FGO 2 electric boogaloo soon.
>>729447328The concept of lostbelts don't even originate from the game you secondary
>>729447328Fine, if you want to be pedantic, it was obvious they were in a doomed timeline from the very beginning. And then they formalized lostbelts to mean doomed timelines that were artificially maintained and that sealed it.
>>729446050Okami. (Because "Reset" is the title of the credits roll song.)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xt5XzKL5v2k
>>729447490lol yes it is>>729447542just use proper words next time
>>729446050Please explain.
>>729447646>lol yes it isWrong. It was introduced in older works. Again, fucking secondary.
>>729447826The Evangelion movies, basically.
Sonic 06
>>729447826Everything goes back to normal at the end and it's just the regular real world.Like persona 5
>>729447828tell me which TM work introduced Lostbelts first then>secondaryhahaha it's one of those schizos
resetting and redoing everything but better this time is better
>>729447103Blue Archive did it first.
>>729448019Extella explicitly touches on it before FGO does. But if you want to get pedantic the concept of dead timelines has existed since the very start, being the mechanic used to explain bad ends still being canon in the VNs, although not explicitly named as such.
>>729447928Lightning Returns FF XIII did it first, tourist
>>729447826The timeline in FGO ends and everyone dies. Then the game shows a shot of an alternate timeline where everything is fine.
>>729448350I clapped
Why am I getting somewhat irritated by a story I never even engaged with, I'm retarded
>>729448435>I'm retardedyeah
>>729446050Prince of Persia Sands of Time comes to mind
>>729446050
fuck it can someone just summarize the whole FGO?
>>729449539"WAH ROLL FOR ME MASTAH"
>>729449539>arc 1: lets go back in time to prevent humanity from being fucked>arc 1.5: let's clean up a few loose ends in filler episodes>arc 2: oh shit humanity got fucked anyway, let's nuke bad end timelines to undo it somehow>ending: oh, we were the bad end timeline all along, let's nuke ourselves and that will fix things somehow
>>729450197Is Marie alive?
>>729450378entire game never happened so no
>>729450378She has been dead for a long ass time. Remember that scene in Traum with the nerve pile? That wasn't her. She was the twig next to it.
>>729446050>Greatest gacha of all time>Worst video game ending of all timeHow does Nasu keep doing it
Damn finally they can get to work on real Fate content instead of gachaslop
>>729450478no I don't.wow that's gay.
>>729450530wait im still confused but the true ending made it so olga is alive? or huh?
Can this retard now do part 2 of AOKO'S story?
>>729450530It was at the very end. When you go to area 51 for like 5 seconds. After being tossed into chaldeas at the very start of the game the real marie was tortured for a gorillion years until all that was left was her magic circuits(the twig), she then ends up in area 51 somehow. She was also used as the basis for various things and basically gets unmade in the ending.
>>729450716wait im still confused i know nothing about FGO except the prologue. is she dead or alive now? wym at the very start didn't she get trap hole'd into dying multiple times
>>729450792>wym at the very start didn't she get trap hole'd into dying multiple timesSort of, it was worse than we thought basically.
>>729450863so is she dead dead now forever or alive because what a waste of a character design. made me not even play FGO after cuz i got too butthurt mad
>>729450792At the beginning. You saw her being suck in a black hole, she's not dead but teleport to the past. People captured and experimented on her.
>>729448071It still gets story updates
>>729448071BA didn't end it's story though. It did something more similar to part 1 of FGO where you have a grand finale of the current story before starting a new one.
>>729446050So... What's going happen to all the money if they decided to EoS? Do they accept refunds?
>>729451385you only have to refund unspend premium currency in Japan. No refunds for anything else
If the story is actually over, then the game will most likely entire a pseudo-maintenance modeReruns and new events with different side stories that happened before everything will probably just be all they focus onHopefully they can start working on an actual decent sequel now, maybe with a Global launch
This world building is genuine dogshit, I can't believe I used to like nasus shit. The funniest shit is, the lore doesn't even make fucking sense. People always cope but the timeline shit NEVER made any sense.>Okay so we have finite amount of energy>The planet and the will of humanity split this across timelines, or is it just the will of humanity? Depends on nasus mood, but it is against the destruction of humanity! Or stagnation! Except in angel notes.>Ok, so everything is just limited to the solar system, it's not actually the entire universe >The "multiverse" is literally just limited to the local solar system because that's the limit of the human order >When the aliens came into the solar system..... They arrived in EVERY single timeline............ How where they created? No idea, they just exist now across millions of timelines. >Ort was basically created a million times for each timeline.. by humanities will. Literally, nasus world makes 0 sense HOW can you take this shit seriously? Like literally how? This entire thing makes no sense. Also>There are infinite universes>Okay no, actually there are finite universes>Bad worlds get pruned>Actually it's just timelines which I meant >And these timelines are just limited to the solar system ,>YOU CAN PHYSICALLY LEAVE THE TIMELINES BY MOVING OUT OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM (lost belt 5 zeus plan)>But when you move into the solar system you appear across all timelines (ort/velber)According to the lore, you can move outside the solar system, move back in, and you would appear across all timelines. Nasus dogshit writing doesn't make any sense lmao
>>729446050can't think of that many so I guess the first Persona 2 game
