>>729470721I'd say First Sinner was the first boss to really push my shit in and forced me to truly lock in and start playing way more aggressively as intended by the devs. It's probably tied with Skarrsinger Karmelita for me as the perfect balance of seemingly giving you no breathing room and endlessly throwing attacks at you, while slowly revealing they actually have their vulnerable moments as you learn their movesets.

Pharloom is actively out to kill you. And the Pilgrims have convinced themselves that this is normal and fine. It's just a test of faith that the Moorwing is stalking the exit to Greymoor to kill anyone it catches not working. Just pray more.
