I feel like this genre doesn't get the love it deserves. Let's name a few titles that any puzzle/card game afficionado should try at least once. Feel free to post any titles, including ones that contain eroge, arcade, etc. elements. Pic kinda related, I'm in the process of learning how to play Mahjong.
I picked this randomly from a local game shop off of their shovelware pile for a couple of bucks. it’s good. all you do is tap blocks of the same color together and they disappear. dumb fun. brings me back to 2005
>>729466214That's what gaming was meant to be. Now we have these super immersive life-like games that don't feel like games anymore but just an extension of life. So depressing.
I played this on the switch a while back. dungeons of dreadrock. it has that tile by tile movement and the monsters move when you move. Has a nice little story too. It has a sequel but I haven’t bought that yet. I have to be in a puzzley mood to play these.

>Puzzle gameBaba Is You. I have the brain of Grug but I absolutely adore that game.Blocks that Matter was fun.Every Picross game you can get your hands on but especially 3D. Picross 3D and 3D 2 are like crack.>Card gameMonster Rancher Battle Card GB (2 on PS1 isn't as fun since you don't dungeon crawl).Pokemon TCG 1 and 2.Pokemon TCG Neo (Hack).Digimon Adventure Trading Card game (Hack).Basically any Yu-Gi-Oh. Yes, even the early ones which are so different. Duelist of the Roses is by far the best one.Kamen Rider Battle Ganbaride if you can deal with the terrible framerate (Unless you're emulating it) and not knowing Japanese. If you understand how the game works it's fine to play with no Japanese knowledge (Although your level ups will be a shot in the dark).
