I paid $15 for it. Never played it. It's good and oddly cozy.
Also yes I know that price is retarded but I kinda don't care considering I've never played it in my life. Should I refund and pirate?
uncslop bruh
I miss call of duties where you're a frontline mook instead of mr badass agent man.
>>729470226We will never have a expansive WW2 COD game that has the same vibe as WaW, Activision is a disgrace. With the exception of COD Infinite Warfare, we will never have a COD game that is bleak like WaW, or that have action sequences like MW2, or at least pumps many different scenarios like Ghosts again...
Anyone know the real reason Call Of Duty 3 isn't on Steam?
>>729470987It's funny how many people mention WaW as the last hurrah in that line of game making, which I agree it is. Then they tried WW2 and similar and completely missed the mark on why the first games were kino before before cinematics became a thing. (CoD3).
>>729471426Console exclusive
>>729471661damn, that's another one I haven't been able to fully play. There are so many games seemingly lost to time, makes me think of the 2009 Wolfenstein game, would be so cool if that was on Steam.
>>729471815Just pirate the game, Wolfenstein 2009 has been abandoned been ages and I doubt it will come back
>>729471449COD WW2 was good during 1 mission (the first one), and then it was nothing more than a absolute disappointmentConsidering how horrible Vanguard was, I think Activision should never make a WW2 game again
>never played it>it's good
>>729472965Vanguard's main problem was that the original plan was that Sledgehammer wanted to do an alt history wacky WW2 in the vein of Wolfenstein, got overridden by Infinity Ward because of Warzone integration, and then they had to tape it together into what it ended up being.
>>729467776>thing that became one of the biggest franchises ever and continues to sell well is actually enjoyable to playIncredible what you can experience when you don't let /v/'s innate and arbitrary contrarianism grind you down.
>>729467776>Never played it. >It's good and oddly cozy. How the fuck would you know??
>>729467776>call of duty 2>goodhttps://youtu.be/KM034idzNu0?t=487
>>729471426>Rule One: You're no good to me dead.>Rule Two: Ah... What difference does it make? You'll all probably end up dead anyway.
>>729467817Yes.>>729475902Wrong video?
>>729467817If you really have to think about a one-time $15 purchase for a decent few hours of entertainment you really shouldn't be spending money leisurely in the first place.
>>729476030go to the timestamp. in the full podcast they actually spent more time talking calladooty than marathon
>>729471449you've given me a hankering to boot up my old xbox, cod 3 was my jam in 2006
>>729475812Because I'm playing it right now
>>729476110true, during the sales however I constantly debate whether or not to spend money on multiple titles under $10 or just 1-2 bigger budget games.
>>729477758>see german>LRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLR
>>729467776Nice, I picked this up for $15 and I'm having fun too.
>>729478435This looks like an okay singleplayer experience to shut your brain off.
>>729478232>SANITATERRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>729472965WW2 lost me in the first mission when there were like a million PPSHs lying around to use on fucking D-Day.
>>729478774the sound design is just not good ewither
>>729478774seriously idk how the industry lost it's confidence to make games with punchy, very loud sounds, especially in shooter games. It's sad.
>>729475902>>729476293I agree but CoD was always like that and that's what it is (was) good at. MW2 and BLOPS comes to mind where they had lots of scripted moments but you sort of are okay with it because it is just a few hours of some shooting galleries and turret sections. I wonder what's their opinion on something like MoHAA because I feel like they did a better job at having better gameplay.
>>729478548It is, I like the call outs to Blops 1.
>>729478774I think weapons in WW2 campaign are random for standard enemies, so you could see a german with a PPSH, a BAR or a MP40
>>729467776the second USSR mission where you all converge on the apartment building and the germans charge you through the smoke is really good
>>729467776is cod3 worth it?, never played it, it's a console exclusive
