She joins after the screen time black holes, Futaba and Makoto, and immediately after she joins the main plot completely takes over starting with the casino (which also necessitates glossing over her dad dying). This means she can't take advantage of the tight-knit feel of the pre-Makoto party and doesn't get room to breathe before the casino, which means her only time to shine is her dad's palace, where she has to share the spotlight with Morgana's meltdown.

It's interesting how back when P5 first released in 2016-2017 Haru was mostly ignored and no one seemed to like her much. But now she seems to have gained a decent amount of popularity.
One thing I've noticed about the jeet infestation of legacy internet boards is that they are only exposed to the era of anime where every girl has bangs, so when you post a girl with parted bangs, you can really tell it's made them uncomfortable, and the only explanation they can give themselves is that her forehead must be huge.
