Played this as my first silent hill and then went back and played the others. F mogs them so bad it’s not even funny. The older games are incredibly overrated and I’m glad f will be the new standard going forward.

>>729480871F is a top tier survival horror game. I’ll admit I was also filtered (f kek) at the first shrine section with the crawling dude and you had to find the wooden drawings on the wall. I don’t know what the fuck they were thinking but I think this is the section that is filtering everyone. Once I persevered and got past this part I started enjoying the game. The UI and the mechanics are terribly explained also, I think this is why a lot of people dropped it. You literally have a stamina bar and a focus bar and that’s it, the game makes it seem more confusing than it actually is. The wolf arm sections are retarded and still quite difficult on the first playthrough, but on new game+ onwards it actually becomes really fun. I hate every goyslop game that comes out nowadays but this is genuinely the first game in ages I wanted to get all the achievements in. The bosses are also hard as nails and harder than dark souls bosses.
I enjoyed the game a lot, much more than 3 or 4. But I can't find the motivation to do the game over again for the other endings. Not really a knock on F but I get bored of all the other SH games doing their multi endings too. I wish they'd add some gameplay to repeat playthroughs, like a different boss or area or at least a puzzle. New story shit alone isn't enough

This game needs a higher budget to work the way he wanted. It needs new scenarios and maps with each playthrough, choices and so on.I have read Umineko and Higurashi, I can see what he wanted to do, but couldn't. Unfortunately, most players will give up after the first ending, but the game is designed to be completed at least three times.
