JFK Syndrome. A really shitty president, but as soon as he got assassinated (read: died before his time), every fucking boomer couldn't stop talking about him. It's the reason why you still can't stop seeing his face plastered on People magazine once every couple of a years while you're strolling through shopping malls. Same shit here. A decent developer, but not so great as to warrant unconditional support, and certainly not for a game like Devil's Third.
Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 are amazing games. 1 Is just pure fun while 2 is flawed but it's a game that promised me carnage and it delivered it in spades. NG2 gets too much hate for it's unbalanced enemy interactions but, as weird as it is, I prefer when the game is intentionally being a dick. It makes it feel more human. The level design of NG2 wasn't as good as NG1 and the series could never fix it even though everything after 2 just had to copy 1's homework. DOA was actually a super fun fighting game series that managed to do the impossible it seems. Sexy character designs + fun gameplay + lots of content + good graphics + a fun OST. DOA4 also had a sick halo spartan crossover character. I know she would end up becoming Rachel but still.
