Canada's had a long history of poor media production in general. It's gatecept by psuedo wholesome (not in the good way) types who censor creativity. Something like Trailer Park Boys was a huge anomaly when is came out. I blame the Canadian content laws too (radio/TV must have X hours of Canadian produced content) for creating a culture of mediocrity because they'd get government mandated screentime.We had ATI for abit atleast on the hardware side.
