Arena has good things about it. For instance it's the only TES game with actual classes. Each class in Arena is unique and has features not shared by the others. For example, Knights can repair their own armor and Rangers have reduced travel time, Monks take no spell damage with a save instead of half damage, Barbaians have immunity to poison and paralysis. This was neat and I think its kind of a shame the rest of the series basically abandons classes and has them serve the function of just being templates for skills.
