Snake-Eyes could easily wait out Shifter and ignore or negate Evenly. You couldn't rely on a single high quality card anymore and had to rely on quantity. Snake-Eyes was the first time we saw non-engine ratios jump from 10-15 to 20-35% of decks. Kotton made very memorable quote during tht 1st Snake-Eyes format, "Snake-Eyes can extend through 2 handtraps pretty easily but once you drop a third they start to struggle". Like holy shit man, you open with 5 cards, the deck SOMETIMES struggles to play through 3 when decks prior would fold to 1?

Last Warrior is level 7, but the way Yugioh is, Donating anything but a very specific monster is a mess of design space. Branded for instance has a ton of really interesting playlines but none of that matters when you can just use Sanctifier to lock people. You have to ask yourself; what's the positive side of this card? You normal summon this guy and get some gimmicky benefit like Tactics/Thrust on a mandatory effect activation? Gen and Ken are already way better at that. The downside is that it enables another dumbass Transverser/Machu Mech FTK strategy. Not broken, but whenever you see it you know you're in for a youtube combo instead of a game of Yugioh.
I think I will skip yummy since they hit it on OCG, i'm not spending +10k gems to just get hit one month later

Infact just dont really care much for any of the newer SNK ones, they just feel so jank to play. UNI is too bloated, and what the fuck did they do to GG? Only modern fightan I even genuinely liked the last 10 years was MAAB because it had Riesz in it while being straightforward with variety, and no one plays it cause its dead, barebones and unknown.
