I had a silent shiv deck with accuracy, kunai, and shuriken, and I even beat act 2 with kunai as my only scaling (I had like 48 dex barely keeping me alive against an increasingly angry Champ). I had a bunch of card draw and block, but even with that my options for every single turn were play 8-10 cards to actually deal damage OR play 3 block cards, eat shit through the lack of scaling, while not progressing the fight. Every single turn, except one where I had the option to play 12 then eat shit from the posted triple attack because I didn't draw enough block that turn (both copies of piercing wail sat at the bottom of my deck).

I'll pick up a buffer or biased cog when I see it but I unless I get Mummified Hand I see no reason to take glorified slime cards that require taking balls to the face the turn I play them (thanks echo form and your 3 cost) or need like 3 other synergy components to be worthwhile. I have a hard time getting defect off the ground without mummified Hand soothing over the energy cost, especially when the act 1 boss gives me a choice between 2 run bricking energy relics or a tiny house going into act 2.

The grand finale was generated by the dead branch and it was really funny because I didn't even run exhaust cards and it was the only wortwhile thing it produced the whole run. And it's really fitting because my previous run (that I lost) was an actual infinte combo grand finale deck that one turn killed everything but I got the snail as the second boss and he shat on me. I desperately tried to fish for helpful relics or potions or cards on act 3 but I died a horrible death.
The snecko I snap picked it on act 2 over some other good relics because I had a really strong discard core with calculated gamble and drawing 9 cards on the first turn, 7 cards a turn is absolutely fucking insane enabling wild degenerancy. It was so crazy I even had my revenge on the snail despite playing a combo deck.
Very, very fun to draft and pilot the whole way through.

Anyone have any good seeds for switch? Particularly something like silent shiv with all goodies ie Fan, Kunai, Shuriken, Pen nib

Like everything else it's not Slay The Spire tier, but it's got that vibe to it where a lot of decks have scaling elements and you have to race the opponent, who is playing by the same rules you are with their own decks of cards. Very much hearthstone mixed with Inscryption gameplay in the best way possible.

Just turn on Hard Mode after winning a few runs in the roguelike mode, it's pretty piss easy on Normal Mode. The story modes are good too but feels more like a tutorial for the roguelike gameplay-wise because it's pretty easy as well.
