GOG has been bought entirely by its Co-Founder from CDPR.

https://www.gog.com/blog/gog-is-getting-acquired-by-its-original-co-founder-what-it-means-for-you/
>>
I'm so glad this doesn't affect me and makes the GOGfags setthe and whine
>>
Since the co founder bought it, will anything actually change?
>>
>>729589659
Weird thing to derive joy from
>>
>>729589515
Going back to the original founder can't be a bad thing right?
>>
>>729589720
This
>>
>>729589515
What's expected to change after this?
>>
I use GOG over Steam where ever possible and I am still not sure why I should care?
>>
>>729589720
Not immediately, no. Give it a year or two.
>>
>co-founder
Probably won't change much then but I hope they don't start removing loli stuff like Steam does.
>>
>>729590078
they just block them for kiked countries
>>
gog-games dot to won't care either way.

Guess that OnlyFans hail mary didn't work out too well, huh?

>Please give us money for nothing...

*laughs in "Support Linux, you retards"*

Seems like it worked out pretty well if they leveraged it into selling the entire company and the existence of it didn't affect the sale?

>Charge money for A bunch of old games that need fan patches and shitty dosbox to play

this should have been illegal.

I guess it will change in a year or two

Hope he finally crackss down on the pirate sites for GOG and gets them shut down.

Just sounds like an internal change of leadership, which GOG could use. How many times do you want me to buy the same 90s video games. Get some different stuff.
>>
Probably easier to evade taxes or some shit
>>
>>729589515
Bump for interest.

Anon, they've been selling modern games for over a decade. Maybe pull up the site once in a while?
>>
>>729589515
With how balls deep CDPR went for DEI, this should be a good thing.
>>
>>729589515
>he buyed bought boughted games from gog
>>
>>729589659
It doesn't affect anybody
>>
>>729591886
I don't wanna >:^(
>>

CDPR will pull all games from GOG and stick to Steam only. They will not put any new games on there either. Other AAA devs will do the same, because this means that the piracy enabling behavior of GOG is not only not going to change, but they will double down on it.
>>
Would be ironic (and sad) if Witcher 4 skipped GOG now lol.

>>729593120
Wouldn't be surprised if W4 has Denuvo
>>
>>729589735
>he doesn't like watching car wrecks and chinese industrial accidents
cmon now
>>
GOG is destined to fail either way, at best they'll barely keep afloat like they've been doing, nobody gives a shit about 99% of old games, by now everyone on the planet owns HoMM3, there's no point for that store to exist
>>
more ESG changes and more woke agendas
>>
Still buying GOG games.
>>
>>729589515
he's gonna sell it to the chinks in 6 months or less
>>
How do I cope with the fact I mainly use GOG and we're losing our Gabe... All that money gone...

Witcher 4 will embrace DRM.
>>
>DRM-free games
Yikes.
>>
>>729589515
It's over.
Gayben is 100% behind this.
>>
Why won't Steam allow me to download game installers or choose what version of my games I wish to play?
Also malware-tier DRM is fucking unacceptable. Shit like denuvo shouldn't even be legal if it's raping my fucking PC.
