>>729630246if you were paying attention, you'd know that the stages you're playing are a dreamscape of some guy, and sybil had infiltrated it by assuming a disguise that all but like 2 butlers are fooled by. what you see in-game isn't her actual appearance.the title of the game also roughly translates into "false royalty" which has a bit more meaning to it when the final boss is revealed to be a princessthen there's also the post-fight dialog between sybil and another individualwhile it's not explicit, you can connect some dots on your own to piece together whatever meaning you think there is.personally I think it's just the dream-haver getting over a girl that he had obsessed over to the point of elevating her above what she's really like, to idolize a fantasy version of her built by his imagination instead of the real person who had long left his life. It doesn't need to be that deep, you can interpret it however you like. But the fact that it's taking place inside a dream means there's lots of room for different perspective.
