So I went to that down ramp where there are 3 flying enemies on each corner and used my special.While doing so I found it's really fucking hard to time specials and I do not know what causes a special to charge. I would do a lap while trying not to do anything extra (to avoid my special charging), and my special would charge. And if I did a lap trying to do everything under the sun to charge my special (Defeat enemies, do boosts etc), it wouldn't charge at all. Fucking weird. Only difference is in the former I was keeping up in the race, while in the latter I was at 6th place just doing my own thing, but I don't understand how that matters.
