I expect it to be a well received game by people that say it stays true to what Silent Hill was despite not even having played the original SH games or being fans of them. Also, just more UE5 slop.

my hope is that its the same as the 2 remake but they learn from their mistakes and dont make it so long and dont make the characters ugly and dont change cut scenes etc. sh2 remake would have been an actual 10/10 if they just didn't make those silly changes, and cut down the length a little

Enemies might have some more attacks to mix things up, but it'll be mostly the same routine of learning animations and dodging/parrying until they're dead. My hope is that they'll have more sequences where players have to deal with multiple enemies at once unavoidably, as those were some of the few times SH2 Remake's combat got a little more interesting.Same generic UE5 look as SH2 Remake. Some areas will at least be cool to see realized in a more realistic art style, but on the whole, it won't leave as strong as an impression as the original.The music will be a combination of safe, uninventive remixes of the original music and some new tracks that stick out like sore dicks.A lot of SH2 Remake's Silent Hill map will be reused.The story will be the same but with a few inconsequential new scenes added.
