How about actual horse racing games. Have you played any?
real horses are lame just give me anime ones
Fuck you Opera O
>>729637639Are the winning post games actually any fun umabros?
>>729637639Which hors is that?
>>729638379Post the edit where a fountain of blood gushes out after he gets bitten
>>729638110What are these cute creatures called?
>>729638079Real horses are cute. I can't get enough of funny horse videos on YouTube.
>>729638615Phar lap sounds familiar, isnt that one of the best racehorses of all time? Whats his deal. How big would his titties be as an uma.
>>729638553Tanukis!https://youtube.com/watch?v=HhNZPd5Z6VQ&pp=ygUKdGFudWtpIHVtYQ%3D%3D
Ahem, is this? Should I pull for dober?
>>729638681>Phar Lap (4 October 1926 – 5 April 1932) was a New Zealand-born champion Australian Thoroughbred racehorse.>Achieving great success during his distinguished career, his initial underdog status gave people hope during the early years of the Great Depression.>He won the Melbourne Cup, two Cox Plates, the Australian Derby, and 19 other weight-for-age races.>He is universally revered as one of the greatest race horses of all time, not just in Australia but in the history of Thoroughbred horse racing.
>>729638681>After a sudden and mysterious illness, Phar Lap died in 1932 in Menlo Park, California. At the time, he was the third-highest stakes-winner in the world. His mounted hide is displayed at the Melbourne Museum, his skeleton at the Museum of New Zealand, and his heart at the National Museum of Australia. They would definitely turn him into some kind of cursed zombie uma with a shitload of belts
>>729637639>erectin' a horse
>>729638763You could just borrow her but that means being stuck in the Ryan mines. Alternatively, you could pull her and borrow Ryans instead.
>>729638779Jesus christ thats kinda fucked for a champion, pretty cool though
Why are Teiobros like this?
If I dont wanna run gold ship in tbe arima kinen what are my options?
>>729639078Three fractures do something to your mental stability
>>729639086POTENTIAL Uma, Maya and Cafe probably.
Pocket card jockey on Nintendo 3ds is really good, probably the last good game freak game.
>>729639078Gold Ship forgot the proper safety equipment.
Just wanna thank whoever gave me help with my TT Sprint Suzuka. Still not winning as much as I'd like, but I got unlucky with the stats. The fact that she can win a decent amount is enough to tide me over.
>>729639207>Pocket card jockeyThis is cute.
>>729639207Never heard of this before, looks cute, I'll try it out
>>729639258What happened to your ult...
Does uraras training effectiveness affect blue balls?
>>729638763I think if you have to ask whether you should pull for an uma then the answer is probably noIf you really like her and/or have plenty of carats to spare then go for it, but if you just want her as a parent then she doesn't seem like a must-have. Her unique is strong but it only works on certain tracks, so you should be able to get away with just making a Ryan parent and borrowing Dobers as needed
>>729639258Good job, anon.
>>729639207It is on Switch as well
>>729639290I got stat screwed and I needed every bit of training possible. I normally run Japan Cup to fix fans, but unsurprisingly that was one of the very rare times I got good training that run.
Wasn't there some anon that picked up winning post from playing uma?personally i felt more inclined to try something like f1 manager
How is dober as an ace?
>>729639258Hey I remember you, nice>>729639290But also this. Your ult affects your rating and score doesnt it? With Suzuka I always do Asahi Stakes junior year, then year two do Japan stakes to easily get me over 70K before senior year’s fan check
>>729638471https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croix_du_Nord
>>729639460Based on people seeing her in open rooms, she’s pretty strong. Her inherit may be mostly a gamble here, but on her it’s good due to the increased duration and accel
I regret pulling for Dober... I thought I would luckshit her with 70 pulls but she didn't show up and I didn't even get any other uma. Now I have 0 carats and nothing but the feeling of emptiness...
>>729639492I think you only need to run the Japan Cup to have over 70k fans for the first two upgrade events
Not sure which one I should pick for Scorpio. One has higher peaks, but can just die due to low stamina and I'm not sure if I should risk it.
>>729639662SAVE. You will make it to the megabanner in time. But you need to avoid pulling a single time
>>729639662>I thought I would luckshit her with 70 pullsHere I thought going in on her with only 25k saved was a stupid move
>>729639741left one looks better for me, but you need more mid race skills. Test both in public rooms
>>729639741Mind posting the deck so I can copy your work?
Im finding it utterly impossible to cap speed with two speed cards and 1 wit card (this is for 20% growth umas like grass wonder and oguri). Im using kitasan and sweep and they straight up REFUSE to show up to speed training, the rainbows are good I can get 50+ speed with a double rainbow but they're just not there. Should I switch to 3 speed?
>>729639693Suzuka’s first event is that she needs 5K fans. This is why Asahi/Hopeful should be done, but you could just do a G3/G2 race I guess.Asides from that Japan Cup is all that’s needed correct.
>>729639904Can you try Kita and King Halo for me
>>729639904On a late surger build? Yeah 3 speed is standard. Yeah ASS has speed growths but if you’re struggling, just do 3 speed, 1 pow, 1 riko 1 wit
>>729639460From my experience going against her shes similar to gold city in that shes ult reliant and likely wins if she activates it. Definetely going to be a threat for the foreseeable future.
>>729639980Sure, I was using sweep because I figured the skill point bonus was more important than the power bonus but I can try.>>729639983I'll try that, I just don't get why its so hard when the rainbows are so FAT. I'm always 2 trainings short of capping speed and frequently have dead turns with no speed rainbows.
>>729637639Pocket Card Jockey is the only good game GameFreak ever released.I went back to play it and I understand so much more now after playing Uma.
>>729639843Haven't tested the right, the left in ideal conditions can catch Suzuka and blow her out of the dust, but she's also on the edge of stamina usage. Most runs she doesn't die but it's still probably a bit too often to be consistent. Fitting mid-race skills can be hard because some runs they just don't show up, and you need as many accels as possible in the first place which is expensive.>>729639863I doubt most people have Palmer, so maybe Bijin SR can be a good substitute with the guts and power bonus. I wouldn't recommend Mambo SSR, mainly because using two cards with 0 starting energy is ass.
the vg thread is going crazy right now, they're posting literal horse pussy kek
>>729639741How could she possibly be gassing with 900 guts?
>>729640157I didn't need to know that
>>729640185I wanna say it happens if the heal doesn't kick in, not sure. I know she gassed out in one of the re-enactment rooms that was 2000m so I'm not sure if it was just the heal not kicking in.
>>729640157Again? Not surprising that place gathered those types after that one guy posted himself actually fucking a mare
>>729640157And jannies wonder why nobody wants to go there
>>729639904The trick is don't wait for doubles, consider single + card(s) with training effectiveness as worthwhile training.
>>729640157You deserve it for posting there, but apparently this is not out of the norm for them…
>>729638543
I am really excited for sprintKINO. What composition are you guys running for it?
>>729640416Bakushin, King, and Air Groove of course!
>>729640416The same team I plan to use for every CM. Except dirt, I just won't run Dirt.
>>729640413FATALITY
>>729640157/uma/'s been on the decline (or surge, if you value funny happenings over discussion) so I find myself browsing here more.
the only thing i know about those jap irl horse sims is that the IRL historical horses are practically cheat codes since the other horses are literal NPCS compared Special Week if you manage to get them
>>729640465I expect 90% of people to be using this comp.
>>729640109I can definitely sub Bijin for Palmer, and might have otherwise used Mambo. Thanks anon.
>¥300,000 fee for entering the japan cupERMMMM so who's paying for that every time we race?
>>729640508Idk man, with enough breeding autism you can do anyone. Theres some sicko here using a sprint manhattan cafe.
>>729640551Tracen academy of course, thats why umas get paid peanuts
>>729640551(You), of course.
>>729640508>sprint sparks are impossible to come by due to the limited amount of sprinters (all with garbage affinity btw) which will make raising sprint aptitude a pain>only other natural sprinters are curren, buono, and Taiki, maaybe Maru (probably forgetting someone)sprintslop
>>729640551I Pay for it. Because my uma deserves to succeed in the biggest stage and every sacrifice is worth her smile.
>>729640515A lot of the guts SR cards are solid for guts builds, I just prefer having alternate stats on them to reach certain thresholds easier, which is why I like Ines for the speed bonus. Mambo herself isn't bad, but Urara has no starting friendship too and that reduces the consistency of runs even more which I'm not a fan of.
>>729640487Same. It's tiring to see how much of a shithole it has become with all the shitposting and offtopic. I'll leave my club from there at the end of the month, even though it's pretty comfy
NOHOOVES FAGGOTS GET OUUUTTT
>>729640416CurrenBakushinKing HaloI will just reuse my TT sprint team for CM. Can't be bothered to build aces as theres nothing to build.
Thoughts on end closers for sprint?
>>729640729>Suzuka at sprint D>Runaway on sprintShe’ll be there for sure.Maybe people will run Urara with turf sparks? Just because shes a sprint A so you can just worry about turf sparks. Not that she’s particularly good…Dober is at E sprint which at least isnt F or G kek. 10 sprint sparks is doable but her unique seems utterly useless for that track no matter how you spin it.
>>729640938Im not really sure if its a good idea, I haven't checked the track details yet but for one you'd need to check the viability of spurt in track, and also see just how many accel skills you'll need to make it to the finish line. It's worth a few tries and we can run test rooms to check it out.
>>729640551Tracen has full scholarship program that includes lodging, food, travel and any URA/NAU fees in exchange for a majority stakes in royalties of the image of any Tracen umamusume, considering they're basically teenagers they also include an investment program that includes a monthly retirement payment after they stop racingsource: it came to me in a dream

the only horse games I've played was some shameless money extractor horse management game, and this really old literal Barbie brand videogame where you jumped horses with Barbie in riding gear love those riding boots
I was playing dobers career and she frequently mentions how you are an adult and it left me slightly puzzled, just how large is the age gap with the trainees?
>>729641048Yeah, the only thing about OYL is that it can trigger too late, spurt is much weaker but seems more consistent.>>729641023I'll make the attempt after my hangover clears
>>729641298When we play Doto's career, she's literally experiencing uma puberty, so they are all basically teens. Yes, even Maruzensky.
>>729641298tracen academy is for horses of all ages
>>729641298I personally believe trainer san is meant to be in his early to mid 20s, there doesn't seem to be a huge maturity gap with the trainees in most careers and it would make the most sense to me for trainer-san to also be a young, inexperienced trainer growing alongside his uma. Hell i think in most cases the uma stories support this, with dober you're a trainer assistant. In the majority of the other careers you're scouting for someone to get started with.
>>729641298it litterally depends on the horse some have their trainers be vets others are rookies
>>729641396>Yes, even Maruzensky. To be fair, if maruzensky spoke normally she totally looks like a teen. She looks younger than some hags like ramonu or groove.

Any good horse racing games on Steam?
nobody said Witcher 3
>>729642113I wonder just how much cash I'd have to throw at a doujin artist to get a custom made uma doujin.
>>729642264I don't know about actual horse racing game, but I remember DQXI has a horse racing segment completely with JRA fanfare.
How do I learn to read tracks /v/ros?
>>729642275I think RDR2 is better.
Should I be running grass wonder or fine motion as my single wit card for umas that already have OYL?
>>729642537as far as horses go I'll believe it, they were more of a gimmick in wizzer 3Rocks tar has decades more experience with vehicles. Hell I think Cyber77's whole traffic system is based on wizzer's horse trails repurposed code
>>729642778>grass wonderYou mean wit nature? I think you'd rather run fine motion because she's the best wit statstick in the game.
Help me test end closer King Halo for the sprint CM, I ran Air Shakur to make sure we don't miss out on spurt. Bring anything, TT umas are fine.90548677
I'm looking into my next uma to max potential on. How good is Brian's In Body and Mind?
>Go through races one by one>draw and loss>dirt race with just Haru lastgg>She wins
>>729643242In body and mind is slightly track dependent but super strong when it works, its a huge boost to speed in the most important part of the race and can make or break a race. Definetely worth it, this CM eishin flash saw a lot of success due to it.
>>729643242It’s good, got buffed recently too. stronger homestretch haste which is a speed boost at the very end of the race. You dont see it much since its on so few characters but its worth grabbing, do it
>>729643464I have never ever seen Haru win one of these. Congrats on the unbricking
TT check!
Why are the vast majority of velocity uniques not worth grabbing?
>>729643479>>729643491Nice, thanks.
>>729643570I saw her win a couple times before this, but that was when she just happened to be around for training and had a 150 speed advantage... still only won by 3/4 LThat one however she didnt have any advantage at all
>>729643137Thanks for joining! It seems to have some potential, can run more rooms later.
>>729643593Probably too expensive and weak for what they give you. Acceleration to max speed is more valuable. MOST uniques dont give good properties when inherited, hence why we’re always pumping iron or angling and scheming etc. There’s like 50 uniques in the game and you can count the frequently used ones on one hand. That being said, Rudolf’s unique is a very good velocity boost, and even Oguri’s is still useful if a bit underrated. Uniques are expensive. There are many good skills fighting over your SP. Some inherits are straight dogshit when inherited but quite strong on the character (looking at you golshi)
>>729643593Most of them have the same effect as a regular +velocity skill but unique skills have a higher base skill point cost, which usually makes them not worth the price unless they get enough hint levels to make them cheaper than whatever other speed skills you could be spending those points on
>>729643738>Sprint Fuku
>>729643910uma is luck game
Remember to play your games before buying more on steam.
What deck composition do pace oguris use?
>>729644003Thank you for reminding me to play other games than Uma. That is one of my resolutions going forward.I will keep playing uma, but at some point I WILL have to slow down club bros…
>>729643992
>>729644060As you should anon, recreation is important. I think all top trainers have started to realize when to pick their battles and take it slow and when to go full throttle and attack.
>>729644107>7Why does shiraoki-sama do this?
>>729644056For what distance? My pace chaser deck has been something like 3 speed, 1 pow, 1 wit, 1 riko for scorpio. Even on a non speed uma I capped speed with 2 speed, 2 wit, 1 pow 1 riko with some speed sparks and a high roll. Since Oguri has 20% speed growth, you can definitely get away with the latter. People sleep on wit, but it helps you keep up with the fronts long story short
