What controllers do you own /v/?
i got these and a bunch of ds4s, ds3s, 360s, etc wish there was a controller with external batteries and hall effect analogs
>>729646252Gamesaar G7 Pro. I can't go back to a controller without trigger stops and back buttons after using this one. Fuck the sticks though. Have to calibrate them almost daily otherwise they start drifting to like 1-2%. That or setting the deadzone to like 5% and forgetting about it for good. 0 drift is a myth.
>>729646252>>729646998Nobody does it like Sony.
I don't collect merchandise
>>729647319That's not drifting but jitter. It makes sense you have to put a small deadzone. I also put them at 5% and it works more than fine. No issues whatsoever.
>>729646998>external batteriesWhy?
8bitdo m30 and some bootleg ps2 controller The m30 is pretty comfy
this :3
>>7296462528bitdo ultimate (the first one)worked great for two years, now it randomly disconnects itself from pc every hour or so, even if i plug it directly with a cable, fuck it
>>729650920The weird part is it's Chinese, apparently. But I still refuse to buy them because of the ridiculous name and associating it with Indians.
>>729646252I got a mister so now I own all the controllers. The N64 is the worst controller ever nothing I do to it makes the stick not go out of whack. Worst controller ever made.
>>729646252SNES. N64. Dualshock. Gamecube. That's it. The N64 controller is the best controller ever designed and only literal retards are filtered by it.
>Hori Split Pad Pro6.5/10pros:1. more comfortable than Joy-Conscons:1. The dpad is extremely uncomfortable2. ZL and ZR make a weird noise after a few days of use3. Analog stick with giant dead zone causing snap effect> Hori Pro Controller (detachable dpad)7.5/10pros:1. The most accurate dpad I've ever usedcons:1. Inaccurate analog sticks with large dead zone and snap effect2. The detachable dpad feels terrible despite being accurate.>Dualsense7.5/10pros:1. anatomically comfortablecons:1. dpad is inaccurate>8Bitdo SN30 Pro0/10pros:nonecons:all>Logitech F3100.5/10pros:1. seems to be quite robustcons:1. anatomically a disaster2. DPAD wobbles everywhere3. tiny face buttons4. extremely hard triggers5. imprecise analog sticks with huge dead zone that requires you to configure even the outer dead zone to be able to play some games>Hori Pokkén Pro Pad8.0/10pros:1. precise dpad2. huge face buttons3. huge R and L4. extremely durable5. perfect for older gamescons:1. only a pair of shoulder buttons (ZR and ZL are on the front)2. anatomically not very comfortable
>>7296462522 DS48bitdo UltimateSteam Controllerthe newer one of the DS4s developed stick drift, but I'm going to attempt to replace the part.
>>729646252Gulikit ES Pro>>729650723Wish I got the black version instead of the white one.
tegenaria litepros>cheap>one of the lowest-latency pads>perfect circularity>good resolution>good report rate>no drift>negligible stiction on the sticks>decisive-feeling buttons>small deadzones on triggers>grippy texture with no gross rubber coating>supports recording macros (whatever)cons>trigger travel should be longer>has "sir" in the brand
two of these and a ps5 controller
>>729652551I'm so sorry
A WiiU Pro and an 8BitDo 64.I tried mapping the C buttons to the analog stick on the WiiU Pro controller but it was pretty terrible. It's also pretty good for saturn games.
>>729646252Steam Controller and a bootleg SNES pad with a USB adapter.
Both my DS4s started drifting, and I tried out the little flex board you solder onto the contacts that'll fix it. It did for a little bit, but then it dramatically made everything worse.
>>729650693Because all batteries die over time and at least in my experience no third party replacement is ever as good as an original lithium battery
Only the very best psx controller ever made.
>>729646252Several steam controllers, a CRKDd atom for retro gaming on my phone, two or three xbone controllers, a DS4, two switch controllers.Retro wise I have at least two of everything up to the PS2 era
Bunch of EU/JP Saturn controllers, Switch Pro Controller, 2 DualShock 3s.It's funny how my DS3s have no drift despite being much older than the Switch Pro controller, which has drift
I have like 60 different controllers just from 30 years of collecting consoles and wanting backups. I still want more dreamcast controllers and a backup Wii U tablet though.>>729653645I've never been able to take any of my DS4's apart for cleaning. I don't know why Sony bothers using screws in their controllers when the clips keep it together just fine on their own. They did the same shit with the DS3.
>>729646252DS4, Victrix, DS3, DS2 lolI find the victrix too small for my hands despite having a fantastic d-pad and neat customization.I wish the Dualsense had a non dogshit D-pad, I would've bought one.
>>729646252I'm using a new 8BitDO Ultimate 2 Wireless controller and the battery life isn't that great. Also had to disable the back buttons via their software as the buttons are just a hindrance. Honestly at this point I should've just bought a regular Xbox Series X controller.
>>729655882>I wish the Dualsense had a non dogshit D-pad, I would've bought one.It really is dogshit.
Is the Vader 5 pro worth a shit?
>>729646252I own DualSense, but after two years, the left stick is developing a drift that's getting worse every week even after taking it apart and cleaning it, so I'm thinking of investing in a DualSense Edge or even one of those 8BitDo contraptions.
>>729646252dualsense, switch 2 pro, and a 360 controller are the ones i'll actually use on pc.
>>729656075It's a shame because it seems fantastic otherwise. If I didn't play fighting games I would've bought one, but alas.
I do actually own the gamesir tarantula and I am rather fond of it.
>>729655665>when the clips keep it together just fine on their own.Screws are a lot better because that clip shit breaks easily.
