The game was pretty rough on release but got better with patches. Sad it got completely overshadowed by River City Girls. That game (river city girls) was made by Wayforward and Arc way and Underground by a small fan company so it feels like Technos ditched their date to the prom for the head cheerleader.

Smaller games with licensed content like Street Racing Syndicate still being sold makes me suspect that most publishers treat licensing agreements as plausible planned obsolescence, especially when it comes racing/sports games.
