The only game in the series that doesn't start with an exposition dump, and is so much better for it. In practice fuckall happens with the story, but DS1 and DS3 are so much worse for having all the relevant stuff happen in the opening cutscene.

I like how ds2 has so many little details that people wouldn't normally see such as the pig digging up a pickaxe.
Ds2 is the only souls that rewards the player for completing a no death/no bonfire run. Really makes you think

Has anyone tried emulating bloodborne recently? How common are crashes and what's performance like? Does online work?

>>729660386I completed the base game in 4k60 (first time playing), now fighting Maria in the DLC. Overall stability is acceptable, only had a few crashes but you need "vertex explosion fix". A couple of bosses cause a crash when entering cinematic in 60fps (Rom and Ludwig), but there's a fix for it too.
