It means Distributed Denial-of-Service. It basically just pings a website until the hardware can't keep up with the requests. Kind of an outdated form of attack.

Don't forget they were originally hired to help work on os/2OS/2 was 64 bit like a decade before windows semi supported it with xp64 and even longer before win7x64 was out.Interface and built in software were excellent and very stable. Unfortunately didn't get a lot of games ported to it because lower market share and such. But I got a lot of games working on it and distinctly remember playing Pokemon Blue on an emulator called dboy under os/2. Hilariously yeah i was running dos then emulator on it. Can't remember if it was PC DOS or freedos or msdos
