Where the hell is THEIR support?
>>729657595Why in a rush?
>>729657595Dracotail format is so boring ngl -_- I don't like when the deck gimmicks is that it got to play an exneed amount of handcraps
>>729658586I just want to have fun with Hollie Sue
>>729657595They have support?
>>729659937Holy Sue
There are no Winged Beast, Beast-Warrior, nor Divine-Beast Trap monsters.

Factored out the Trap Monster stats to the bottom. They're visual clutter that ruin the flow of the effect.
I was righthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb5r58Kzt-w
>Diabrocken of the Ghost Light>Level 6 FIRE Fiend Effect Monster>ATK/ 2000 DEF/ 2000>You can only use the (1)st, (2)nd and (3)rd effects of this card's name once per turn.>(1) (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 FIRE monster from your GY or face-up field; Special Summon this card from your hand.>(2) If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; negate its effects until the end of this turn.>(3) If this card is sent to the GY as Link Material: You can Set 1 Quick-Play Spell or Normal Trap that is in your GY because it was sent there this turn.
>>729667675This is an apology for the shitty Rescue Ace support.
>>729667889My first thought was "now my Soul Resonator can dodge Imperm"
>>729667992Other decks can make use of it for sure, but it seems designed for Rescue Ace mainly.>Turbulence is the biggest "NEGATE HERE TO WIN" in years>Preventer summons from banish>the deck loves to link summon and is all about quickplays+normal trapsThey even just un-semi'd EMERGENCY in the OCG. The biggest complaint about Rescue Ace Quick Attacker(aside from it being overall kinda bad) was that its "shuffle a RACE to special this" effect wasn't quick effect. This card really just reads like someone's attempt to fix Quick Attacker.
>>729668318Also when setting up you have to weigh the pros and cons of getting RESCUE and flipping it that turn to extend with Hydrant, or saving it for disruption/to revive a guy they remove, and whether or not to link of Hydrant or keep it to buff your spells/traps. Diabrocken means you can just ignore all that since he lets you flip RESCUE turn 1 then immediately get it back.
>send X from the Deck to the GYWhat's a shorter way of saying this?I don't feel like "Foolish" is a good choice.

I look forward to the new years burn event every yearAlways a good time
>steal MAN's monster>Super Poly 2 of his Traps away for Garura>make Kagari>Raigeki>Normal summon Genroku>OTK with everything except TenpaiGenroku aura farming
>>729672407>extrav with one ED monster
>>729666443Every single Konmai shill having this opinion at the same time is bad news for the game.Say what you want about every deck needing the same 24 hand traps, it makes playing multiple decks more affordable because you only have to buy/craft those 24 cards once.If the idea is that games should go towards engine vs engine that just means Konmai expects you to buy/craft a brand new deck every time a set comes out. Look at how many URs Branded has for an idea of what that looks like.
>>729672978i don't think the sentiment is that hand traps should be gone entirely, just that they should have the mulcharmy downside so they are strictly a going second thing because they just end up being too powerful for the going first player inevitably.
Ash to 0 (zero) soon™
>>729673418>mulcharmy downside so they are strictly a going second thing because they just end up being too powerful for the going first player inevitably"If you control no cards" is one of the most dogshit restrictions ever implemented.
>>729673649>we will get a FREE HER poster for ash soon
>>729673758i mean i don't really disagree but the yugioh player base is retarded and will shit themselves if konami ever dares to change the rules again
>>729673845Absolutely not
>>729673890if the rule change involves removing pendulums from the game for good we can reach an agreement
>>729673418>get hand trapped out of combo on turn 1>hmmm... maybe I can survive for a turn to try again with my handtra-Wow, this is a great idea.
>>729673758Why? Handtraps + board is what makes going first so impossible.
>go first>open x2 chain energy>this happens 3 times in a row
>>729674434So play them
>go first>draw cards i put in my deck>it keeps happening
>>729673649If Joshua Schmidt wills it.
>>729674340Because of >>729674265Instead there are middle grounds that can be taken instead, like how Imperm requires you to set it which both telegraphs its presence and leaves it vulnerable to removal. Or there can be other downsides, like slap the Izuna/Dominus Spiral downside on it if you control cards. Or make it unactivatable but only if you summoned from the ED more than once last turn. Or make it have a weaker effect if it's past turn 1. Or make it only activatable as the first effect you activate in a turn. Or if you control a monster make it only activatable if your opponent has summoned more than twice this turn. There are a lot of downsides they can add that don't just leave you with a handful of bricks if you go first but also nerf endboard+hand traps.
>>729672912I honestly just slapped shit in there and won every game in 2 seconds
this art goes hard
>>729674340>Handtraps + board is what makes going first so impossible.Requiring no cards promotes linear and repetitive play patterns, it's also not interactive. If you put bodies or S/T on the board during the opponent's turn you are actually playing the game. All the common handtraps are some flavor of negate (ash, veiler, imperm, dominus) or draw floodgate (roach, chummy, droll).I'm an old school player and in the old days Heavy Storm was hated because of how dumb it was. It's a non-interactive card that you sack into going second, drop without a second thought and either trade for solemn or blow out an opponent. Heavy's existence put players in a lose-lose situation, you either set 1 card and lose to MST (which was at 3) or you set 2 and lose to heavy.I think Dracotail would be an example of good design if the Dracotail monsters didn't have secondary effects like pops or negates alongside their searches. Resolving Faimena and Arthalion is already a +3, getting non-target pops/negates in the GY is beyond bullshit.
I will match 3 cardsYou'll see
https://note.com/handshuffling/n/n18857c8600a1
Mulcharmies should have the imperm requirement of no face up cards
>>729676625>imperm requirement of no face up cardsYou mean Lightning Storm requirement.
>>729676625Mulcharmies should have you shuffle cards back into your deck until you have 5 cards in your hand minus 1 card for each card effect you used this turn.
>>729676625That does't fix shit. Bystials are fair cards because putting bodies on the field lets you resolve go-second effects you otherwise wouldn't be able to going first. But using Bystials locks you out of chummies/imperm/lighting storm/evenly and forces restrictive deck building and play pattern
>>729677128This is the most retarded version ive heard
>>729677213>Bystials are fair cardsPowercreep.
>>729678096They were always "fair" from the perspective of using them with your own cards. They were only ever unfair when used as handtraps. Which is still the case. But it's also still the case that they don't function as hand traps vs enough decks to keep that unfairness in check.
>>729678378>They were only ever unfair when used as handtraps. They weren't unfair as handtraps either. Druis, Baldrake, Saronir do nothing on their own. Vs both Tears and Fiendsmith, you needed at least 3 Bystials to actually stop their combos. Because Lacrima can summoned a banished Fiend 2 Bystials was not enough (they would dump Moon, Req, Engraver, Lacrima) it was better to have 1 bystial and 1 veiler since you couldn't run imperm. And EVEN THEN, Fiendsmith decks would just make SP and banish your Bystial anyway.Bystials were broken against old ass decks like pre-support Raidraptor. Banishing from the GY has generally been a subpar disruption for the life of YGO, called is the exception because it's also a lingering negate.Meanwhile having a monster that does nothing on your field is bad news, it can't attack or defend your LP turn 0 so it just make shit like Ketu Dragontail and Thrust live.
>>729678978You can't say that Druis does nothing on its own when it requires specific answers to remove without taking something with it. Even just going to battle with it will at least let you force something out. But even the more mediocre Bystials are extremely strong vs the right decks. Anyone who's played with them has had a good amount of games where they will win you games outright thanks to just being large beaters after stopping an opponent's combo.

>>729683360That's not AI art. You can't even tell the difference and still you pretend to care.
>>729677404Nah, it's pretty balance. Notice it doesn't randomly shuffle cards so you can fix your hand to deal with your opponent's board. If you use handtrap slop, it punishes you which is fair since you're drawing a bunch of cards.

You guys DO realize that by participating in the event, you'll always have 1 gem leftover even after spending everything on packs, right? And you won't be able to fix this until 2029, and that's only if they run this event every single year.
